Ang Babae sa Septic Tank is an indie film which was shown first in Cinemalaya. The movie is comedy starring Eugene Domingo together with some local stars. Eugene Domingo is one of the know comedienne in Philippine Cinema, her talent had made her to where she is now, and she had made herself well crafted on her chosen career. With that talent she won herself Best Actress at the 7th Cinemalaya International Film Festival.

Cakes here….cakes there…cakes everywhere….


Well, that’s the environment when I attended the 1st year anniversary of MEDCHEF. A lot of cakes at the table, I think all the cakes are blockbuster because the table was just like it has been hit by a storm. A lot of people continuously chatting, downstairs…upstairs… almost everywhere is full!!! I wasn’t able to watch the program downstairs because most of the bloggers and guest clog up the way and there’s no way I could take my shot of viewing the program. Thank goodness that some of the models went up to let us see what kind of cake they are modeling.


Apparently, their cakes taste good, but I am longing to taste their best seller cake. Hoping that the next time I visit their store I’ll get a chance to taste it.

Guests, bloggers, models and whoever on that night was very much delighted because the people experienced the sweetness of all the cakes presented.


One of the owners of Medchef, Chef Hasset was very busy going around and estimating the guests. Judging from their faces, it seems that they are very much surprised with the number of people visited their anniversary celebration. I’m sure most of them love the cake just like me. Every bite gives smile to everyone.


So anyone who crave for something different, something sweets, something artistic visit the Medchef to feel life to the fullest.

We, parents are very protective of our kid, that’s why we don’t want them to feel any hurtful experiences, we are after on their safety and happiness, right mommies?
Unfortunately, vaccine is really part of a baby’s life. Even though they feel pain during their vaccine, they still need it to fight against those harmful diseases, to protect them from illnesses and to boast their immune system for the unfriendly environment as they continually growing up.

All parents feel delighted if you see your kids doing well in school. One of the proofs that will mark that your child is doing well in the school is the exam.

Today is the time for me to have some fun with my hubby and my son plus in addition my niece pepay. Pepay is my sister’s daughter, she is turning 1 next month.


To start the day, we just prepared the things that we’ll need to bring in the event. We know that we need to bring some stuff if travelling or going out with a baby. Pepay is the only granddaughter of my parent, so she is our princess. For now, Gelo my youngest son can’t be with us for this event because his only 2 months old. I’m looking forward to have a family bonding with Gelo but for the mean time he needs to stay in the house to have a lot of rest for him to grow bigger and stronger.


In the event, Maki and Pepay were so very happy because they saw a lot of kids and some colorful stuff. First, we lined up for the registration and register for the two (2) kids to have their own 3D glasses which will be used in the event. Maki and I sat down in the small table with crayons and paper. Maki loves to color drawings and he does that while biting his lips. We just smile when we see Maki does that. While we were in the table, my husband and pepay roamed around to take some pictures in the event.



The event was the launching of Private Iris’ Case No. 17 Going Pinoy. Private Iris is a comic book for kids which have some 3D effect in portions of the comic book. They started it with some games, sort of explanation about the comic book and then the presentation of none other than the author of the said comic book Jamie Bautista which did some short story telling. Good that Maki decided to sat down on floor together with the other kids but Maki did not join in any of the games that they play. To end this event, they called the 2 mascot name Iris and Danton. They wanted to let kids have some interest because kids love mascot, but my son Maki as usual didn’t like what he sees his still scared and afraid to be with the mascot. Unfortunately, we didn’t have any pictures together with the mascots. The event was sponsored by Alaska and Powerbooks which later on Alaska giveaway some of their products. We are really thankful that Mommy Bedai invited us in this event.



After the event, we had our snacks at Mcdonalds.

It’s time to us to go home. We wanted to take the train to home as early as possible, unfortunately, there were a lot of people in the MRT. Since we have kids with us, we decided to take the bus instead. Bus ride sure takes most of our time, imagine it took us almost 1 ½ hours travelling back home. During our travel, the kids fell asleep, well my husband and I took a nap also.

Maki was so delighted when we got home, he get the book and tried the 3D glass. While Pepay laid down the bed and was so tired. After some changing moment (changing of clothes) I finally touched and carried my son Gelo. For just a short span of time, I really missed him. I can’t wait for the time that he can come with us for a family bonding.


It was fun and joyful day to have a family bonding like that.

May 11, 2011…

Early morning, the sun is up, a beautiful day ahead. Breakfast… done, things to prepare… done, ready to go to my office.

Office environment-filing, reports, talking to my boss and some condo owner, preparation of some documents, those usual things happen in my life inside the office.

2pm…afternoon…My boss and I talked to one of our tenants about the contract, after a sort of explanation, I am now preparing the contract, suddenly I felt something burst inside, still I continue printing the contract…another burst…I felt something unusual that force me to go to the comfort room. I was shocked that I saw blood! I felt nervous and my heart started pounding so fast, I don’t know what to do! I think, I even forgot to flush the toilet bowl. Hurriedly, I went out and told my boss that I was bleeding. My boss assisted me to sit down, I picked up the telephone to immediately call my OB-gyne, and her assistant told me hasn’t arrived yet. After that I called my mom, my voice is shivering while talking to her. I told her what happened and asked her to meet me to my OB-gyne’s clinic. I called my OB-gyne again; thank God she’s already there. I told her what happened, so she first then instructed me to go to the hospital but later on changed her mind and insisted me to go to her clinic to do an ultrasound first before going to the hospital. Our tenant, the one that we talked about the contract, offered his car to brought me to the clinic. One of our staff assists me and she is at my side till we reached the clinic.

During the travel, I did so many things. I think it’s about 5 to 10 minutes travel going to my OB-gyne’s clinic. I grab my phone and did a message and inform my hubby and my sister-in-law about my situation. I called my husband and ask him if he can go home early…imagine my husband is in the province, his travel going home will be 2 hours I think. I talked to him, explain, my tears appeared because I don’t know what to do. After I talked to my husband, I talked to Gelo (the name of my baby), I keep on telling to him that “hold on baby…hold on baby…” I slightly touched my tummy to feel him. I am so happy because he keeps on moving inside my tummy. When we reached the clinic, I kept on thanking our tenant who brought me in the clinic, he is such a good person, I think God gave him to me to guide me and brought me in the clinic immediately…to save me and my baby.

In the clinic, I think there were 3 patients before me. The assistant of my OB-gyne got my BP and my weight. She talked to me and ask me to calm because my OB-gyne will check me immediately right after the 3 patients. As I waited, I keep on touching my tummy to feel my son, gladly that he keep on moving, but suddenly, I felt pain, at first the pain is tolerable…but slightly the pain getting worse. Then my OB-gyne called me and I immediately went to her clinic. Then he saw the blood, she explained to me that she really need to do an emergency CS but she needs to do an ultrasound first, to check why there’s a bleeding and to check what is the age of the fetus. I am scheduled to give birth on June 21, 2011, so it’s about a month to go before the right time to give birth. During the ultrasound, my doctor told me that on medical term, I experiencing Placenta Privia Totalis-Placenta positioned first to come out rather than the baby as far as I understood.

That was the explanation of my OB-gyne, but for some, I experienced bleeding because of some stress happened in my life. I think there are 3 major stressful event happened. First, when my father was confined to the hospital for about 1 week due to mild stroke. During his confinement, I did all the things in the hospital and I even to go there after office. Second is the stress in my work, a lot of things to do, some reports, talking to some people and many more. Lastly is the footbridge that I need to pass through every day before going home, Whew!!!Those stress happened in my life.

The operation…the emergency CS…the feelings…the scary moment…soon…

Recently, I just attended a press con at the ABS CBN compound. It’s about their new TV Series entitled “Reputasyon” with their lead actress is Cristine Reyes. The new TV Series is part of ABS-CBN’s Kapamilya Gold. Being a mom who just started blogging and attended events, this press conference is an unusual activity for me. To be honest this is my first time to be present in a press con, so I really don’t know what will happen.

Jobert, the emcee, started the program and called the cast of Reputasyon one by one. As the actors and actresses came in, press people and bloggers started taking their pictures. As a blogger taking their pictures is a delight for us especially if we were together with our favorite actors and actresses but for me I take it as souvenir for having been in the event and meeting those stars.
I really enjoyed watching all the cast answered the question coming from the press. One of Cristine’s comment was that, “Itataya ko po ang reputasyon ko, maganda po talaga ang kwento nitong bagong show namin. Pinag-isipan po ng mabuti at pinaghandaan po ng aming manunulat at produksyon”. A clear answer right from the lead actress herself.
One of the challenge that given to all the cast and production staff of Reputasyon is how they will invite viewer to watch their teleserye under Kapamilya Gold timeslot rather than Primetime. A very strict challenge that I’m sure the story itself will let viewers take time to sit and watch the TV Series.

We are so very thankful that we got a GC of Kenny Rogers from one of the events we attended. Together with my parents and my in-laws, we celebrated the 2nd month of Gelo at Kenny Rogers (SM Fairview). We are so full. Everyone is so stuffed that we left Kenny Rogers Restaurant with a big smile on our face. The foods were so delicious.

The G in my life, G stands for Gelo Malikha Demo my youngest son. Almost 4 years that we’ve waited before Gelo came in our life. Last May 11, 2011 I gave birth to Gelo, it was a big struggle and scary moment in our family and especially in my life.
I was scheduled to have a CS on June 21, 2011, unfortunately, a month before my scheduled my OB done an emergency CS to me due to Placenta Privia Totalis, I experienced bleeding. Placenta Privia Totalis, as far as I understood when my OB explained it to me, is when the Placenta positioned first to come out rather than the baby.

I remember when I’m in the operating room, one of the doctors told me that I should love myself and love my baby than my work. I’m a workaholic type of person. During my pregnancy I experienced stressful things that happened in my life. Aside from stress in my work, my father was also confined in the hospital in which somehow add up to the stress plus the footbridge that I need to pass through in order to get home. Those are the things that made me stressful during my pregnancy.
Now, I realize how strong my son is…

I attended the bloggers night event of Star Cinema for the adventures of PUREZA. It was my first time to attend such event. I was so overwhelmed when I met other bloggers in that event. Aside from meeting other bloggers and what amazingly catch my eyes is when the stars of the Adventures of Pureza arrived one by one. It was really an experience seeing and made a little picture with such stars. They are so down to earth, and they treated us as one of their close friends, ever.
