Hahaha! Hooray for moms like me! Yup I starting to get into the world of Dads and kids. Truthfully I'm not much of a toy lover but since our two kids came into our life, it's been one heck of a toy learning and character memorizing for me. Of course I wouldn't get much of the names of the characters but hey I'm learning. Like the saying says, which I don't know from whom it came from, "if you can't beat them, join them".
Gladly I was able to go with my hubby on this event. I never thought that this would a very crowded place. I can't barely stay in one booth to check out and see the toys. The scene is like in Divisoria the good thing is that the exhibit hall in Megamall is air condition so there's no need to worry about getting sweaty. This is my first to visit TOYCON and as what I have heard from hubby the most crowded days were Saturday and Sunday. We were there Saturday!
Some of the characters are familiar and some are not so I really need to know them one by one, I just don't know how long will it take me to memorize the names of the characters. I pretty much like some of the life size statues at the main exhibit area. Mostly of the photos here were taken by my husband so perhaps he wanted me to know them for our kids. They get to talkative most of the time and asks too much whys.
The TOYCONPH2013 does not only held exhibits of collectibles for sale and for viewing but also some programs as well and Ms. Alodia Gosiengfiao, I've only known her because of my hubby, was there and of course the crowd swarm near the stage. This is our only photo taken during her performance.
So good luck to me knowing these characters. I was like taking an exam for my kids. Hahaha! Have a nice day!
