As part of its 20th anniversary celebration, Star Cinema brings together an exciting new screen pairing in “She’s The One,” features the biggest stars of their generation: two-time Best Actor winner Dingdong Dantes, box office queen Bea Alonzo plus “The Next Ultimate Leading Man” Enrique Gil. Dantes, Alonzo and Gil have earned the respect of critics and the support of their audience individually but this is the first time they are doing a project together.
“She’s The One” is a story about two best friends who find themselves pushed into a complicated romantic situation. According to Ms. Vanessa Valdez during the blog conference "It takes a boy (Enrique) a man (Dingdong) to man up, that's the concept of the story".
Making this movie a potentially bigger audience draw is the addition of a second new screen tandem in Gil and Star Magic 2013 discovery and emerging ‘It Girl’ Liza Soberano, who plays an important role in the movie. Gil will play a guy smitten by Cat whose image he captures in his cellphone camera and whose attention he tries to catch with the help of Wacky (Dingdong Dantes).
Since it's the first time that Bea and Dingdong teamed up in a movie, bloggers have the opportunity to ask the relationship between them and what was it like being together in the movie. "Refreshing na makasama si Dingdong kasi di ko lagi nakikita, I had fun working with him" Bea said. "He tries to improve his self and humbling experience na wag dadalhin sa ulo ang success", Bea added. While on the other hand, Dingdong to Bea. "She is so nice and no pretension at all".
According to all the cast, the movie tackles friendship, regrets, second chances and love. Any one can relate on the story (Kahit anung age makakarelate kahit sino). So if you feel in love or you want to feel in love, just watch the movie and tell us here how do you find the movie.
Directed by by Mae Cruz and written by the award-winning team of Vanessa Valdez (Charlene Sawit- Esguerra, Anton C. Santamaria, and Roumella Nina Monge), the film is woven around the idea of an epiphany that comes with finding the one person you cannot live without.
Oh, I will definitely have a date with my hubby to watch this movie. So watch for my movie review. Hopefully!
