I met Marion Aunor last year when she was presented during the press conference of Star Records' Himig Handog P-pop Love Songs.  She is really a soft spoken person but lot of things to tell in her end. I think the way she answered all the question that throw to her, she is so intelligent and she really loves music as well.


Last January,  there was a blog conference with her and this time she was very excited and informed us that she is finally a Star Magic artist and was welcomed by Ms. Thess of Star Magic.  According to her there are no plans yet or project for her on TV but if ever she will have she want to portray a Villain or a Psychotic.  Which I don't think would really match her face and character, hahaha.  With her current look, very angelic and not a villain like.  She said abruptly "try me!"  Perhaps it will be a great challenge for her.

After winning third-place in Star Record’s Himig Handog P-pop Love Songs last year, Marion was immediately signed up by the music label. She also became part of the Middle East leg of the “Be Careful With My Heart” world tour. She also become a Star Magic Kapamilya. "Im happy that I get to work with artists from Star Magic. I’m looking forward to be doing concerts with them too", says Marion.

“Marion Aunor” had soft-launched last September at the A.Venue and Glorietta and will be officially presented on air last January 26 on “ASAP 19.” The album has 12 tracks which includes six original songs and six covers. Marion relates that the original music on her album is mostly based on personal experiences and experiences of the people around her. “Unlike most local artists, I like to write my songs and put my own spin on revivals. So I’m very grateful that I was given the freedom to include my original compositions in my album and I was given a say in terms of the cover songs’ arrangement … I usually write songs based on personal experiences to which many can surely relate. In my album, there is a song for everyone, no matter what age and hopefully, no matter what nationality.”
