Da Seekers Cove, a center for Tarot Reading, Dream Insights, training and personal consultations, as part of its 12th year anniversary, will conduct a weekend workshop, Bringing Out The Best in You, on May 31-June 1, 2014 at the Development Academy of the Philippines Conference Center in Tagaytay City.

The workshop is a weekend journey to the self wherein participants, by looking within, will recognize the patterns and beliefs that block the full expression of their potential, and adopt measures to successfully pursue their goals. They will learn to deal with rejection issues, express their feelings to others with ease and comfort, build a solid base of confidence so they can act with courage in the face of criticism, and expand the vista of possibilities to live a life of passion, fully expressing their talents.

Psychotherapy methods, group interaction, experiential processes, meditation and personal energy generation exercises combine to enable participants to draw personal insights for improved personal efficacy.



The workshop will be conducted by Ms. Shinette Sanchez-Garbanzos and Dr. R. Kevin Plata. Shinette, founder and proprietor of Da Seekers Cove, is a specialist in gestalt, enhancement of self-esteem, and conflict resolution. Trained at the US-based La Jolla Institute of the Person, she has consulted with multinationals, banks and government organizations. She developed Tarotherapy, a technique that smoothly combines Tarot Reading with psychotherapy processes for deeper self-awareness, clarity and personal empowerment among the clients of Da Seekers Cove in the past 12 years.

Plata took his Psychology Doctorate (clinical psychology) at Rutherford University (Virginia, USA) and his Master’s degree in Social Psychology, Human Potential Development at the University of the Philippines, and trained, as a Master Facilitator, under Gary H. Craig, founder of Emotional Freedom Techniques, . A specialist on psychological trauma, physical pain reduction and phobia elimination, Plata is also a certified Yoga instructor and a practitioner of other forms of energy therapy.
