Johnny Rockets Beats the Heat with their Summer Shakes

Johnny Rockets invited me and my son for their bloggers' event which was held in Eastwood.  Though it was quite far from our home but still we manage to go there since it's a bonding moment for me and for my eldest son, Maki.  Too bad that Daddy and Gelo wasn't with us to make this event another family bonding but anyway it's a Mom and Son bonding moment this time.

Johnny Rockets offers a dining experience from a typical American-style diners, it is an international restaurant chain that provides food, fun and friendliness reminiscent of feel-good Americana. Both the exterior and interior are quintessentially American. The fixtures, the decor, the tiled floor all memorialize the era of feel good American with some Coca Cola memento of various kind. The jukebox near the entrance is a classic.  I only saw this kind of diner on movies but thanks to Johnny Rockets I was able to see personally.
Maki was delighted when they welcomed us with their summer shakes sampler which made us taste it first before going into further explanation and details on what the shakes are made of.  For my son, Maki, he loves the taste of the purple colored shake.

Aside from the sampler they also served their Original Burger which comes with fresh lettuce, ripe tomato, chopped onions, relish, pickle, mustard & mayonnaise with free fries.  Well, for me the burger is just enough because it is really one of the big servings that we've encountered.  If you're not much of big serving, Johnny Rockets is not for you but if you're in for a really big surprises and treats then you can immediately head on to one of their stores to get a burger, fries and shakes.  Loved it!

I thought the shakes sampler was all to it but then again I was wrong because Johnny Rockets served us with the actual size of their Summer Shakes and I can say that it was really another big serving. The new flavors are Guyabano, Hawaiian Breeze and Halo Halo. Creamy as it is that comes in a huge size of serving that fits for me and for my son, Maki. Among the 3 flavors, we love the Halo Halo, which is the purple one. Well, we Filipinos love the Halo Halo flavor. Next is the Guyabano, I like the taste of it and guyabano is one of my favorite fruit as well. Love the taste of the shakes it really beat the heat of summer.  You definitely must try these shakes and experience for yourself!

It was a memorable dining experience and we'll definitely go back here together with my hubby and my youngest son, Gelo.  We will let them experience and taste the big serving at Johnny Rockets.
