MAG and Me Movie Stars Cafe Experience
5/15/2014 03:35:00 PMOne of our restaurant escapade was the Movie Stars Cafe which is very far from our place. It takes more than an hour to get there, so it's somewhat an adventure for us, hahaha! Though I've visited the place 3 times already, with my Family twice, we've never had a chance to watch more of their shows so this time we stayed longer and watched their shows.
The design of the Cafe is amazing because you'll see different memorabilia, photo of stars with their signature on it, and most especially the life size statues around the resto. My kids love the look and even took a photo with these statues plus there were roaming cosplayers inside the cafe. Oh and they love to have pictures with the characters though my youngest son was a bit scary on some of the characters but still they enjoyed it very much. These cosplayers even joined us in our table!.
Like I mentioned earlier, Movie Stars Cafe showcasing life-size figures and props from different movies and hundreds of framed autographs that surround every corner of the restaurant, they serve dining not only through exceptional dishes but with an entertaining flavor of a surreal mix of fact and fantasy. With their 300 seater capacity, the Cafe is like a big studio that comes with a multi-dimensional variety of sensory delights.
Gladly, that one of the highlights of the performance that we were waiting was "The Lion King". I just reminisced my childhood days because of "The Lion King". The first time I saw it was when I watched it in the cinema and now I let my kids to watch it and encounter the well-loved characters from the Pride Lands like Simba, Mufasa and Nala and the unforgettable movie theme "Can You Feel the Love Tonight?" which is now one of the favorite song of my eldest son, Maki. He is already LSS (Last Song Syndrome) with that, hahaha. Marvel at the costumes and props, some of which were imported from Japan and the others especially made by the townsfolk of Paete, Laguna, the wood caring capital of the Philippines.
Here are the food that we ordered:
Shakaka - is a combination of different sausages with a sweet taste. This is the favorite of my kids, every time we visit Movie Stars Cafe I see to it that they have that Shakaka in our table.
Overload Nachos, overload as it is, my hubby love it and we enjoyed it and we finished eating it I think after the performance of Lion King, we're truly overloaded, hahaha.
Pizza, 18" Pizza, it is very huge and it taste good, actually we take out half of it because we were so full that night, because they have big serving for the Family.
Our night was a blast and the kids really enjoyed it very much. My eldest son, Maki asked "Mommy when are we going back there again?" Hahaha! He was really delighted with the offerings of Movie Stars Cafe.
