Vigan for the New 7 Wonders Cities

The New 7 Wonders of the World are now in search of new wonders in the cities bracket. If you have followed them in their search for the New 7 Wonders Nature in which our beloved Puerto Princesa Underground River in Palawan was hailed as one of the new wonders of world. The province of Palawan and Puerto Princesa City is now one of the top destinations in the world because of that prestige of being one of the New 7 Wonders of the World.
Today, the Philippines is in for another competition but this time for the New 7 Wonders Cities and this time VIGAN is the lone nominee. Out of One Thousand Two Hundred (1,200) cities, Vigan made it to the 28 finalist and is now calling out for the support from all of us to make VIGAN part of the Seven (7) Wonders. We’re making another mark in the world history so please do support the call to place Vigan on the list of the New 7 Wonders Cities. Here's some information about Vigan. It is a small city in the north in the province of Ilocos Sur, Philippines. It is the capital city which is located on the Western coast of the island of Luzon, facing the West Philippine Sea. The city maybe small but it is rich in culture and living heritage. The Vigan Ancestral Houses is the living proof. It already withstands the test of time and it was in 1999 when UNESCO inscribed the city as a World Heritage Site. It is one of the few preserved Hispanic towns in the Philippines where its structures remained intact, even the cobblestone streets and architectures.
Aside from the architectural designs and structures, Vigan is also well known for their yummy and delicious foods like the Vigan Longganisa and the Bagnet which is great to much up for vegetables.
