"The Princess In Me" at SM North EDSA

Christmas is here and kids really love this season. Lots of activities, lots of foods and of course plenty of fun to celebrate the yuletide season. Since the beginning of the "ber" month, Christmas displays, decorations and designs are anticipated and looked upon to, most especially on malls. And one of the biggest malls in the Philippines, SM Supermalls are once again bringing something new to its consumers with their yearly themed displays in every mall that they own. For SM North EDSA, it is themed as "The Princess In Me". Making an outburst of feeling of being a princess not only for the little ones but for the princess-at-heart as well. It's their treat for their loyal customers who patronizes not only the products but also the mall itself.

I remember my kids love to visit this themed Christmas center decoration of SM Supermalls. Not only my kids awaits for this themed decors and designs but I think most Filipinos do. Expecting to see what will be the theme of their Christmas celebration. My kids loves to see those dazzling, colorful and extravagant display of SM Malls.

Last year we cover the unveiling of Christmas theme at SM Fairview. Now, they invited me to witness the most exciting Christmas Holiday at the mall and specifically SM North EDSA with their theme "The Princess In Me".

SM City North EDSA set the kick off of the Christmas themed celebrations of SM Malls dubbed royally as "The Princess In Me". Guest and shoppers alike were treated to a dazzling display for all the senses with the lighting of majestic Chistmas tree made of gowns. Held in partnership with the iconic toy brand Barbie, the event's guests were be able to,look forward to a display of rare and unique dolls, as well as a princess-themed float parade.

Keeping true to the spirit of togetherness during the holidays, celebrity families like Kramers, Laurels and Muraoka-Rabagos also share their cherished traditions and how they celebrate their holiday cheer.

My kids are both boys so I'm the only princess in their lives and with this theme I've unleashed "The Princess In Me" as the event featured plenty of surprises.

Festive lighting of The Princess Tree was lead by SM Prime Holding, Inc. President Hans Sy, and Internet Super Star Kendra Kramer. Founder of Richprime Global, Inc., the local distributor of Barbie and other well-loved children's toys (Disney Princess, Hot Wheels, Fisher Price and Chicco), Myrna Yao with SM SVP for Marketing Millie Dizon, SM President of SCMC Annie Garcia, SM SVP for Marketing JonJon San Agustin, AVP for Operations Renee Bacani were also present in the event.

Lighting of the SM Bears of Joy Tree was a sentimental one. With the SM Bears of Joy Tree, we can make other children happy by buying a pair of SM Bears for only Php200. You get to keep one bear while the other one will be donated to the SM Cares Foundation

Kids from Child Haus were also given an early Christmas present during the gift giving with Barbie. Child Haus is a temporary shelter for patients of cancer and other deceases who come to Manila for treatment but have no place to stay.

A fashion show of different princess' fashion and style highlight the launch. There were Pop Princesses, Party Princesses, and Fairytale Princesses which brought Barbie fashion of life for a stylish celebration.

Shoppers will also witness a majestic musical lights show of the Princess Tree every 30 minutes from 11AfM to 8PM at The Block from November 8 to January 4.

Will likewise have a Fairytale Untold exquisite display featuring Barbie as Snow White, Cinderella, Belle and Rapunsel.

The Barbie Collectors Hall exhibits the most prizes and dazzling Doll Collectors. It showcases Barbie's gorgeous looks and transformation from past to present.

Watch the Royal Parade of Stars and be mesmerized with the floats starring your favorite fairy tale princesses. The parade runs November 7,30 and December 7, 14 and 21 at 5pm.

Disney Princess fans will likewise have the rare opportunity to Meet and Greet the fairytale characters at the Skydome. Have your photos taken with Belle, Snow White and Sleeping Beauty at November 16 at 11am, 1pm, 3pm and 5pm.

Other highlights of the launch also included a Skytacular Fireworks display at the Skygarden with the ceremonial lighting of the Giant Firefly Christmas tree that marks the beginning of Christmas season at SM City North Edsa.
