Teleserye has been part of a typical contemporary Pinoy daily lives, though there are so many teleseryes to watch we see to it that the story give moral lesson and of course a good and convincing act is a must. Actors need to convince us all that we believe in their character that's why viewers like me are now very much choosy. We don't want to feel the usual series that we watch that we get bored of it and we already know what will happen next, that's why GMA Network offers a unique and some new artist in the industry like in one of their teleserye the Destiny Rose which is aired via GMA Afternoon Prime starring on his debut role Ken Chan.
Of course GMA got the best artist that fits on their teleserye like Miggs Cuaderno, who portray the role of Joey (Destiny Rose) as a kid. Miggs Cuaderno has been nominated and won several outstanding awards. He recently won Best Child Performer in the 17th Gawad Pasado Award, 31st PMPC Star Awards for Movies and the 63rd Famas Awards for the highly acclaimed film Asintado. His most precious award is a Best Actor Award from Cheries Cheris International Film Festival in France. Imagine those awards and it turn out that Miggs is just 11 years old.
Miggs shared that portraying roles is a big pressure to him because most of the people who know him well will expect more from him since he has won several awards. He is doing his very best to portray such role like in Destiny Rose.

According to Miggs his first portrayal gave him a hard time, acting as a gay, but through workshop and his diligence in giving his best, he knew that he gave justice on the role that has given to him. In order for him to master his portrayal, he gets his peg from the gorgeous Solenn Heusaff. This is to make his actions and voice soft. It is very challenging for him to portray a gay role.
Ken Chan also faces a big challenge because he needs to do his best to match up with Miggs in acting as a gay in Destiny Rose, since Miggs is very good in acting as a kid role in Destiny Rose. According to Ken Chan, he underwent an audition just to get the lead role part in Destiny Rose and he is very thankful especially with the help of GMA Network and GMA Artist for all the support. He shared as well that he has a dream board that he looks at every morning to give him a boost to reach it, I can relate to this because my hubby has it as well, actually at our ceiling, so everytime we lie down or as we open our eyes we look at it, and it is effective because most of what is in his dream board were achieved already. Nice move Ken!
Ken Chan's peg is Marian Rivera and Jennylyn Mercado plus a workshop that helps him to portray his gay role, actually it is not the typical gay role, it's a transgender role.
Destiny Rose is also garnering high ratings from the moment it started and Ken Chan feels overwhelmed and thankful to all the viewers who supports Destiny Rose. All the hard work truly paid off because viewers appreciated their efforts and he promised that he will continue to do his best for the show.
