Kids is out of the school now and summer vacation just started. Parents think of different ways to make Summer experience of fun for our kids. Gladly that Maki and I attended the launched of Milo Summer Sports Clinics and guess what my son Maki was able to experience the different activities what kids can enjoy.
So, if you're one of the Moms like me who are you looking for an activity for your kids this summer, why not sign them up for a sports clinic where they will not only learn the fundamentals of a sport, but will also build their character! That's what MILO is offering as it officially launches this year's MILO Summer Sports Clinics at the City Club in Alphaland.
Running from April to May, the MILO Summer Sports Clinics offers a healthy summer experience full of fun and excitement where kids can expect to learn the fundamentals of their favorite sport from expert coaches of respected sporting organizations in the country. The program also promotes the importance of living an active and healthy lifestyle, and offers the opportunity to gain new friends while acquiring character-building traits they can learn in the process such as confidence, discipline, diligence, perseverance, respect, teamwork and sportsmanship.
Maki, my eldest, really enjoy the day when we were given a chance to try some of the sports clinic that Milo will offer this summer, especially when he tried one of the sports, the football in which he loves to play it. He just watch it on TV and now he truly experienced it though it was just a little time, but still the smile in his face really a fulfillment on my side. Next that he tried was the badminton, he played it in the house but a kiddie badminton, but in MILO is quite different, but still he enjoyed it very much.
Basketball, Table Tennis, Gymnastics and Volleyball those are the sports that Maki tried it. “Mommy, its hard to choose now, I really like them all” Maki said. Well, as a Mommy, we support what our kids like to do as long as it develop traits. Maki is a shy type of kid and he really lacks confidence. My husband and I thought of many ways just for him to overcome those traits. We need to boost his confidence that's why we always let him join in different activities.

Lastly, he played chess. Maki just often played it on the TV. Surprisingly he knew some of the moves in chess, it is his first ever experience on actual chess playing, knowingly that his playmate actually knows how to play. After his game, I told him that we are going to buy chess board so that we can play in the house, who knows, we might enroll him in Chess.

“Milo is committed in helping Filipinos live an active and healthy lifestyle. That's why this summer, we're encouraging parents to sign their kids up for the MILO Summer Sports Clinics so that they can make their kids make the most of their vacation by getting into sports,” said Robbie de Vera, Sports Marketing Executive of MILO Philippines, during the ceremonies.
Dedicated in widening its reach to children with different interests, MILO also announced that it is partnering with new organizations in adding three new sports in this year's roster: GOLFMIX Philippines for Golf, the Philippine Fencing Association for Fencing, and the Triathlon Association of the Philippines for Triathlon.
“We are excited to welcome our new partners in bringing Golf, Fencing and Triathlon into our roster of sports. We assure the parents that these new sports partners will uphold the quality associated with the MILO Summer Sports Clinics so that their children will get the best training,” added Robbie.

With Milo, moms can raise their little champions to be active in their sport of choice. Drinking MILO with Activ-Go everyday helps energize both the body and mind so that kids have the winning energy to fuel them before every game.
Maki really loves MILO, it is always included in his breakfast. During the event, Maki always drinks MILO every after the sports that was introduced to them. He really like the taste and it is better when it is cold. We always have MILO in our house, no time that we forgot to include it in our grocery list.
