Book and Borders Cafe is not new to me because I have been to its first opening and I can say that its choice of place and space is quite different. I can also say that this is just the best spot for keen readers of Novel books. Another thing is that it is one of the places that most book lovers would definitely a place to hang out. Reading your favorite novel book while having coffee and a good relaxing treat for the palate.
Last November 26, 2016, Book and Borders Cafe officially and formally opened its door to the public. In celebration of this another milestone for Book and Borders Cafe, owner Kristine Simisim, Mary Simisim, Megaworld's Kevin Tan, General George Ancheta, Benjamin Alves, Karylle Tatlonghari-Yuzon, Architect Paolo Grijalvoand Harry Morris led the ribbon cutting ceremony and followed by the blessing of the restaurant.
Of course the blessing wouldn't be complete without the food to fill up the tummies and the cafe's resident chef enticed everyone with Book and Borders Cafe's signature drinks and dishes such as the Salted Hot Chocolate, Iced Coffee Fudge, and Hazelnut Frappe; the Barbeque Liempo with Rice, Fried Tuyo with Kesong Puti Pasta and Seafood Aligue Pasta.
Book and Borders Cafe observes "me" time that's why the cafe was created to cater individuals who would love to get in touch with themselves even if for a moment. Like I mentioned earlier this is a place to indulge for a great drinks and good food. So in order to give more place for "me" time, Book and Borders opened its 3rd branch at Eastwood City to cater residents, office workers, students and shoppers a new venue to dine and unwind.
The ceremony is over but the celebration has just started when Karylle serenaded the guests with the renditions of her favorite songs. The night continued with performances from Christian Bautista, Carlo Orosa, Keiko Necesario, Gio Levy and Bullet Dumas.
To top it all, the cozy feel of the place plus the indulging comfort food and drinks entices everyone to take a seat and pass time by reading your favorite book, and of course to avoid the rush of traffic. Visit the place and experience it yourself Book and Borders Cafe at G/F Olympic Heights Condominium, Eastwood City, Libis.
