HOOQ Featured Mano Po 7: Chinoy On Its Recent Hangouts


Welcoming the year of the Fire Rooster, HOOQ, Asia's largest video on demand service, celebrates it with a free screening of MANO PO 7: CHINOY at the Globe Iconic Store - BGC Amphitheater in Bonifacio Global City last February 4, 2017. What's make it even great is that two of Mano Po 7's actors and actresses made an appearance, Richard Yap and Jean Garcia.




HOOQ Hangouts, presented by Globe Live in cooperation with Samsung, is a series of outdoor screening events that showcases HOOQ's vast library of carefully curated content. And one of the best way to enjoy it is with your friends and loved ones.

For this recent HOOQ Hangouts, MANO PO 7: Chinoy  was featured. It is an ensemble of great actors and actresses led by Richard Yap, Jessy Mendiola, Enchong Dee and Jake Cuenca, It also stars Jean Garcia, Eric Quizon, Kean Cipriano, Janella Salvador and Marlo Mortel. The movie is fresh from it's theatrical release last December.

According to HOOQ Philippines' Country Manager, Jane Cruz-Walker "We chose Mano Po 7 for this month's HOOQ Hangouts not only to celebrate the Chinese New Year but also to emphasize that HOOQ will be the first to have the newest local movies after their theatrical run." She also added, "Now movie fans don't have to wait as long since we will try to make it available on HOOQ as soon as possible. Mano P0 7 which was released in cinemas last month will be on HOOQ by this summer."
