Shopping at Tutuban Center Mall!

Shopping Galore! School days are fast approaching and for us, Mommies, we're getting busy buying stuff for the kids. Since I am a Mom of 2 kids, who are in Grade 5 and Grade 1 this school year, I need to prepare lots of things for them to be ready in their school.
I was glad that one of the malls in the City of Manila, Tutuban Center Mall, invited me to accept the challenge of buying things and stuff inside the mall with only P1000. We all know that Tutuban Center is one of the places where you can get best buy items. Of course they got so many stores to choose from. So, the challenge starts.
First stop, school supplies! So, what I got were Pad Papers, since Maki, my eldest son, is already in Grade 5. He will be starting to use pad papers of different sizes like lenghtwise, crosswise and 1/4 pad papers. While my youngest son, Gelo is a grade 1, so I bought a pad paper for his grade level. In addition to that, I also bought Manila Papers they'll be using that most of the time, specially when reporting to the class.
Another thing that my kids need for school is the White Board. Maki loves to join contests in school like quiz bees and one of the requirements is to bring a White Board to write their answers. So did got one for him.
Next on my quest for great finds at Tutuban Center are the under garments that my kids will also use in school like the Sandos, Socks and Underwears. My kids will be using these throughout the year and they loved it very much. Isn't lovely to see your kids happy for what you bought for them. I got 4 Sandos, 3 Socks and 3 Underwears, just enough to last for the whole year... I think.
Next Stop, the toys. These days kids are very fond of the gadgets and it seems that they are very much becoming addicted to it. So I thought of a good way to divert their attention with the gadgets. Since I got money to spend I decided to get them a board game that they will try and play at the house after school or on weekends. So I bought Scrabble. I used to play this when I was still young. Luckily and it seems that my kids love the Scrabble. Not only this will let them some time off with the gadgets but it will help them boost their vocabulary.
My final stop was a little bit funny and since my eldest son would be taking his lunch with him, he would definitely be bringing spoon and fork. Since the set of the spoon and fork is too many for us, I decided to talk it out with one of the Mommy Blogger who also took the challenge for us to get the set and divide it. Gladly she agreed and both of us got 6 sets of spoon and fork. We're thrifty mommies, right?
It was a great experience to get affordable items on a budget spent at Tutuban Center Mall. Mommies, it is not too late not to buy stuff for your kids for their school needs and for your home essentials. Whatever your need, #OnlyOneTutuban have it.
