Acting workshop is not just for those who wants to be in the limelight of showbiz career. Most of the artist that we idolize now wants to undergo training or workshop to enhance their capabilities and to challenge their selves in a most rigorous role that they want to experience.

In line with this, talents of GMA Artist Center will undergo a thorough Acting Workshop under Coach Anthony Vincent Bova, a prominent New York-based acting coach that came here in Manila to train GMA Artist Center stars. Bova is the artistic director of Bova Actors Workshop and the Ionica Theater in New York.

Also an actor, writer and artistic director, Bova is a protege of famed coach Eric Morris, who has taught some of the best actors in the Philippines, including Laurice Guillen, Johnny Delgado, Leo Martinez, Michael De Mesa and Joel Torre among others.

Coach Bova complimented the stars of GMA Artist Center "They're beautiful kids. A lot of the actors here, in general, are very grounded, very connected. They're not detached from themselves and that's  nice thing."
After his visit last February, the New York City professional acting teacher and his co-teacher, actress, Anna Feleo, will be conducting the "Empowerment" training, which focuses on the "emotional & psychological alignment for peak performance" of the artists.



Some of the stars who have undergone workshop with Coach Bova shared that they learned a lot, they were able to know what they are capable of, and of course they were able to learn to become a better actor. It was a memorable experience for the artists and they will really treasure it.

Bova will come back on January 2019 to conduct the culminating activity, which will showcase what the artists have learned throughout the year from his training program.
