Vivo brand ambassador Inigo Pascual led three quick but action-packed HoopBattle Challenge games during the Vivo HoopBattle Championship Philippines 2018 last July 29 at the Market! Market!
Inigo entertained the basketball fans with his energetic hosting a hoop game for the fans present during the icebreaker segments of the Vivo HoopBattle Championship Philippines.
The Vivo HoopBattle Championship Philippines is the first basketball event of its kind to be held outside of China. Philippines was the chosen destination this year because of the Filipinos’ passion for basketball. Presented by Vivo Philippines in partnership with Ayala Malls, Inc. and ABS-CBN Sports, the Vivo HoopBattle Championship featured 3x3 squads from the 48-team field, with only two winning teams receiving a cash prize of Php 200,000 at the championship, along with trip to Guangzhou,China to compete with other Asian teams in the HoopBattle Finals in August. The top two teams who battled it out hard in the court and emerged victorious were Team Metro Star Realty and Team Core.

With NBA superstar Stephen Curry as its global ambassador, Vivo, in the local scene has sponsored both the University Athletic Association of the Philippines (UAAP) and the National Collegiate Athletics Association (NCAA).
