Bonding with Family is real! It requires great effort. allotment of time, and of course shelling out some of your hard earned money but hey its for them. As of now, for me, it is a must, especially now that my kids are starting to grow faster than I expect it. That's why I have dedicated some of my time and space in my FB account the "Date with My Boys". This is to at least record every important happening in my life with them.


One of the things that I realized while doing some of my "Date with My Boys" is that I am not a sporty kind of Mom. And well in fact I should be because I have 3 boys (including my hubby) who are very adventurous and sporty. I did realized after we visited Climb Central.

Climb Central is one of the indoor training facilities for individuals who loves wall or rock climbing. Wall or Rock Climbing is a sports that requires grip strength, muscles coordination, and agility in accomplishing or reaching the top.


It’s really ironic that during my high school days, I’m one of the CAT officer who had rapelling training and other military exercises. One of I attended team bldg has a wall climbing, it’s been a while since I did wall climbing, I'm not into it because first I have fear on heights, I'm not sporty and I’m not expose on that kind of activity.


During our visit at Climb Central my kids were all excited even my hubby. Of course registration first, safety gear and introduction with briefing. We need to be informed of the dos and don'ts plus what to expect. The facility is for partners or individuals who would like to harness their climbing ability. 
Personally, I tried the climb -twice. Unfortunately the mind willing but the body is weak. I guess I need to have more practice. My husband love this kind of activity he even reached the top for 4 to 5 times during our stayed their. Though his not much into it and with no practice, still, he managed to do the wall climbing properly that made our kids get amazed and eager to try the activity.


Our eldest son, Maki, loved and tried it that he managed to reached 1/4 of the wall climbing area. Just like me he wanted to reached the top but his body is not prepared for this activity. Perhaps next time that we do something like this. While our youngest son, Gelo, managed to reached higher area than his older brother. Gelo is like his Daddy because he kept on climbing and trying different stunts at Climb Central.

Both my kids loved to do it and they told me that we need to be there at least once a week. During our stayed they kept asking when will be our next visit. Yeah, Climb Central is true on what they said that this activity is so addictive that you want to go back again.


This is a full bonding moment for us with lots of memories. It is so sporty I guess I need to be sporty because my boys loved to do wall climbing. A different kind of bonding activity that really gives you  moments to treasure for the rest of your lives.

Singing loveteam Maris Racal and Inigo Pascual, also known as MarNigo, have graced the Christmas charity event of global smartphone brand Vivo at the God’s Grace Home Care Center (GGHCC) in Quezon City.

Aptly named as Vivo Treasured Moments, the event was meant to bring happiness to the elderly living at GGHCC as the smartphone maker’s employees led in donating cash and goods for the benefit of the home care center.

GGHCC is an institution that accept clients who are the elderly, the disabled, and other patients who need palliative care. Owned by Grace Fe T. Capital and Rufino M. Capita, the institution strives to provide the highest quality care for their clients and perform as the substitute of family care.

Aside from helping in distributing gifts, Maris and Inigo also entertained the elderly and performed their hit songs and covers.

Despite his busy schedule, Inigo spent time with the GGHCC elderly and staff.

Inigo performed first and sang his most famous single, “Dahil Sa’yo,” to the enjoyment of the GGHCC residents.

Inigo made sure the elderly had fun during Vivo’s outreach.

Aside from singing, he also played the “Hephep hooray!” game with the elderly, home care center staff, and Vivo employees. Inigo may have lost the game, but he remained energetic throughout the game and encouraged the remaining players.

For his second performance, he sang “Sana Ngayong Pasko” while interacting with the lolos and the lolas. He even approached some of them and made them sing a few lines.

Maris is a ray of sunshine to the GGHCC elderly.

Maris, meanwhile, rocked the house a bit with her rendition of “Rockin’ Around the Christmas Tree.”

Like any doting apo, Maris assisted the lolas during the game.

She also played “Siomai, Siopao, Suman” game with the elderly. It was a more challenging version of “Hephep hooray!” Maris was a great sport as she eagerly helped the elderly understand the game and interacted with them every chance she had.

Maris made one of the lolos at GGHCC cry as she performed her original song, “Ikaw Lang Sapat Na.”

The young star also shared her original composition, “Ikaw Lang Sapat Na,” with the elderly and reached out to them during her performance.

The visit to GGHCC is Vivo’s fourth outreach program in the Philippines. The smartphone brand previously aided Cottoleng Filipino, Habitat for Humanity, and the AFP Medical Center (V. Luna General Hospital).

Through their presence and talent, MarNigo was able to make an impact in the lives of both GGHCC staff and residents. Like these rising stars, Vivo aims to impart compassion, kindness, and happiness as part of the company’s responsibility to society. Yours truly have been an avid fan of fun runs and other festive events, not only in the metro but also in other parts of the country, as a proof of that you'll read some of my stories here in Mommy's MAG Life. Today, I'll be sharing one of the upcoming event this coming December 2018 and take note it is an event that will happen in the Visayan region. Amidst the historic landmarks, churches and houses that has spanned for centuries, the municipality of Zarraga, Iloilo will serve as host of LABAN NG LAHI 2018 (Global Platoon Run Challenge).

 

LABAN NG LAHI is an advocacy project organized by Camboayon Sports Events Management wherein proceeds will go to their livelihood programs and their partner organizations across the country. This is also part of the town’s annual week long celebration of the ZARRAGA PANTAT FESTIVAL to be held this December 16-18, 2018.

The event is also for peace advocacy, as this aim to welcome groups like the CPP/NPA, MILF, MNLF, CPLA, RPA-ABB, for them to participate in the name of National Peace and Reconciliation.


The organization will also be funding "Itikan Love Projects" which is a duck raising program aimed to benefit 1000-2000 of the poorest households per province. This also will hasten to improve and support local and national tourism efforts so people would get to see a quaint Filipino town as its 24 barangays welcome you to Zarraga, one of Iloilo’s charming municipalities.



Of course this festive event organized by COL JONATHAN BALDEVARONA and PROFESSOR NOLAN BANDA will be joined by different stars who will be performing at the Laban ng Lahi 2018.

On its 3rd year, the magical field of lights in Nuvali once again opened its doors this holiday for visitors from different part of the region. Nuvali, one of today's largest sustainable estate under Ayala Land presents its annual immersive light and sound show in partnership with the Walt Disney Company Philippines. The fields will once again be filled with dancing lights and music. Beginning this November 24, 2018 the gates of Nuvali football field, also known as The Fields, beside Ayala Malls Solenad will open its doors to expectators as they begin the show, which will run every 30 minutes from 6:00PM to 10:00PM.

This year's Nuvali's holiday light and sound spectacle is titled as "Reimagine the Magic: A Festival of Lights."  Visitors from different parts of the region will definitely enjoy well-loved Disney tunes as a field of 5,000 LED bulbs light up like an enchanted field of tulips. Aside from the musical of laser lights, the crowd favorite 50-meter light tunnel makes a return. Guests will also be enchanted by a number of Disney installations.

For this year's magical field of lights will have a different take as the show will support a cause. This is going to be a fundraising for the Hero Foundation which supports the families of fallen soldiers. Part of the Php50.00 fees will be donated to the foundation. As soon as we see market potential and product acceptance, as indicated primarily by consistent orders, we follow through with significant investment in sales and marketing initiatives in order to maximize the business potential.”

Manufacturing is a key success factor for Rebisco’s international business. In 2015, the legacy snack maker opened its Vietnam manufacturing facility, complete with a sales and marketing force. Mangubat added, “Vietnam’s strategic location in the region makes it an ideal manufacturing hub for businesses that want to penetrate the ASEAN markets. BFC Laboratories and Watsons recently ended a months-long nationwide campaign for beauty and fitness with a “bang!”

Health enthusiasts, members of the press, social media influencers and those simply wishing to switch to a more healthy, beautiful and fit lifestyle; attended the culminating event for “Transformations—Beauty + Fitness,” the annual health and beauty campaign spearheaded by BFC Laboratories and Watsons Stores that seeks to help everyone achieve their health and beauty goals through a sensible program of regular exercise, diet and most importantly, supplementation.

This is the second year BFC Laboratories partnered with Watsons for the “Transformation—Beauty + Fitness” event, which held its glitzy kick-off launch last September at SM Makati. This was then followed a series of activations that saw BFC Beauty Booths going through the whole archipelago in a series of activations at selected Watsons stores nationwide. The campaign ended in a “Big Event” at SM Megamall’s Activity Center last November 4. Present to support the campaign were BFC stalwarts including, social media influencer, host, model and BFC Lab Athlete, Jason “Coach Untoy” Villanueva; model, GMA Talent, and Euphoriamaxx Best Bodies 2018, David Licauco; Bb. Pilipinas Universe 2012, host and actress, Ariella Arida; actor, sports enthusiast, and Euphoriamaxx Best Bodies 2018, Enzo Pineda; and Miss World 2015, actress and GMA Primetime Queen, Megan Young, all of whom presented their own personal experiences on how they incorporated health, fitness and beauty into their own busy lives and professional careers, to help in their own physical transformations.

To help the audience get into the mood for an afternoon of health, beauty and fitness, Coach Untoy, led the audience in a series of stretching and light exercises that was warmly received by the event’s audience. Along with BFC Director and Founder Nino Bautista, Coach Untoy also enlightened the audience on the how’s and why’s of the Ketogenic Diet and the importance of supplementation when following it. Incidentally, BFC Labs also informed the public that the company will be launching, Ketovit—a dietary supplement especially formulated for people following the ketogenic diet, who want to transform their physiques.

Citing the importance of fitness in achieving one’s own transformation, David Licauco also stressed the need for extra energy and strengthening immunity when one is focused on improving one’s health and weight.
