One of the interesting comedians in GMA, Betong Sumaya, who have made our lonely moments forgettable with his crazy antics and laughable lines. Originally, Betong was an executive producer for various GMA News TV shows. He first came out in front of the camera in 2011 when he joined and won Survivor Philippines: Celebrity Doubles Showdown.
From then on, Betong has become a popular host and actor and is considered one of the country's best comedians.
Betong is currently part of the country's longest-running gag show Bubble Gang and he also stars as Asi in the primetime drama series The Gift.
Aside from hosting and acting, Betong is also a talented stage performer. He started singing when he was just 4 years old and then he joined competitions. While still in school, he also joined various school programs and theater groups.
In celebration of his upcoming birthday on November 21. Betong is holding his first-ever concert - Betong's Amazing Concert: Try Ko Lang Ha? - at the Music Museum
When he asked about how he feels about his first- ever concert, Betong said, "I feel excited and nervous at the same time. It's always been my dream to hold a concert. It took me two years to think and prepare for th is one."
What can we expect from this concert? Betong said, "I'll be showing off an all-new Betong who is not just a comedian but also a performer. But as the title of my concert suggests - Try Ko Lang Ha?
Betong will have special guests at the is concert, including fellow GMA stars Dingdong Dantes, Michael V., Alden Richards, Miguel Tan-Felix, Jeric Gonzales, Aicelle Santos, Maricris Garcia, Maey Bautista, and Chariz Solomon.
Presented by GMA Artist Center and Michael Angelo Productions, Betong's Amazing Concert: Try Ko Lang Ha? is directed by Juan Paulo Infante and under the music direction of Jojo Diamse.
