I have been interviewing Arjo Atayde quite some time already and most of his roles and characters are interesting. He has created different roles that probably have marked to every viewer who has watched his teleseryes. It's interesting that the audiences are affected by the characters that he portrays, which is good because he's effectively delivering what is ought to be delivered by the character.

Arjo's moving from one character to another proves his versatility. From Joaquin to Elai and to Benjo, all with different personalities that he gave justice to the character. He truly loves his craft but far more than the skills and talents that he has, there are still those certain traits that get the audiences to watch him whether his character is a villain or a good one.


During our interview with Arjo Atayde I was able to get some pieces of clues about why people are hooked with this interesting actor. Here are the five (5) interesting traits that I discovered.

1. His eyes speak. Probably it is very rare for an artist not to have eyes that speak whenever you're closely looking at them but for Arjo's case it does not only speak but it gives you that communication that he speaks truly from within him.

2. His dimples. Perhaps it's an admitting factor that actors with dimples capture more attention when they smile. It's like a magnet thing that you'll have a second look.

3. His speaking voice. Like what Ate Julie mentioned in the interview it's his deep but clear speaking voice that made one good impression whether he is a villain or not.

4. His clear passion for the craft of acting. Yes, he is very passionate when it comes to his acting that he really studies and make an effort to connect with his audience through his acting.

5. He's humble. That's one of the traits that I like about him because whether he has a good project or just a plain role he is still very humble and his feet are very much attached to the ground.

And it is just right that BAGMAN is given another season. If you become very much interested in the first season of BAGMAN then you'll probably get hooked as well to its 2nd season. The character of Benjo Malaya was quite different in this new season. As told by Arjo, he is still the same bagman but this time he has power.

One of the rising actor in the Kapuso Network, Derrick Monasterio, is not only blessed with good looks and physique that's worth envying but he is also given with so much talent.  A versatile artist who can act, sing, and paint.
Derrick, who was recently seen in the Kapuso series "Inday Will Always Love You" and "Dragon Lady" and the movie "Wild and Free" will have a new place to showcase his acting and singing skills - the stage of the iconic Filipino musical "Rak Of Aegis" at the PETA Theatre Center.

Starting this July, Derrick will take on the role of Tolits in the longest-running original Pinoy musical.

In an interview with GMA Netwrok during the "Rak Of Aegis" press launch last June 3 at the PETA Theatre Center, Derrick shared," Before I went into acting, I really loved singing. So when I saw an opportunity, I decided to audition. I was already a fan, as I've seen Rak of Aegis before, and now I'm happy to be actually part of the cast.

Derrick also shared that he made sure to clear his schedule so he has he chance to audition.

This Meditteranean brand, JM Shawarma, oiginally came from the Tuna Capital of the Philippines, General Santos City. This shawarma brand has been one of the top in the Visayas and Mindanao region for almost six years. But more recently, the brand has ventured in Manila thereby widening their reach to a total of 100 stores nationwide.




With JM de Guzman onboard the brand is assuring that they will bring more what is expected from them. More new products, exciting and unique flavors, and more variants will be rolling out in their stores.

“Excited ako kasi sobrang sarap sa pakiramdam na mapagkatiwalaan na maging endorser ng isang brand gaya ng JM Shawarma, na talagang tinatangkilik ng mga kababayan natin,” said JM, who’s more than grateful for the new blessing in his career.

“It’s a first for me in a long while, so nilo-look forward ko ang pagsasama namin at kung paano ako makakatulong para sa JM Shawarma,” added JM.





According to Barefruit Group of Companies’ founder and chief financial officer Hannah Miranda-Mamon, choosing JM as their official face is a no brainer since, like JM, their brand also has a great potential.

“We believe na sa dami ng pinagdaanan ni JM Shawarma as a brand, we can relate to the story of JM de Guzman. Si JM himself ay marami ding pinagdaanan pero ngayon, he made a great comeback and that he never gave up,” said Hannah.



While they are a newcomer in Luzon, Hannah boasts that JM Shawarma’s superior food taste made up of fresh ingredients and tasty sauces of garlic, cheese and barbecue is something that could put them at par with their competitors, on top of their products’ affordability.

“We also have Tuna Shawarma highlighting the abundant product of Mindanao mostly healthy buff love it. We also regularly introduce variety among our products. The recent blockbusters that we have are the Cheesy Wrap and Shawarma Overload,” she shared.


But as far as their competition is concerned, Hannah underscores that it’s only a secondary issue for them. “It’s a challenge that inspires all entrepreneurs to continuously improve. As long as we continue to focus on taking care of our customers, consistent in our quality and as long as we have dedicated and happy team around we can compete,” she said.

Expect to see more JM Shawarma stalls in the coming years, especially in the common areas in Metro Manila and other parts of Luzon and Visayas with their commissaries now ready to serve the entire Philippines and with JM ready to just munch it with JM Shawarma.

During the interview, Miguel disclosed that he was so active in sports, he was 8 years old when he started Karate and Martial Arts. He was also a varsity player for Basketball in Letran and in Trinity College. And finally, he was able to have a chance to be the endorser of Cafe Marla.



For now, he wants to push through with his showbiz career through his acting and singing talent. In fact he will have an upcoming single entitled "Target Date" written by Rapido and also an indie film. As of the moment he is manage by Sir Ace and Ms. Marla.
He shared also that he is more on acting rather than singing. He wants a challenging role like a villain and more on drama acting in teleseryes or indie film. He wants to work with his idols like Piolo Pascual and Jericho Rosales.
His ultimate crushes in showbiz are Liza Soberano, Bianca Umali and Michelle Vito. He is dreaming/wishing to work with his crushes soon.

With Miguel's determination to push through his career, for sure he will land a perfect role to that will give him a mark in his acting ability and becoming a good actor in the showbiz industry. Time will come for you, just believe in your self. Good Luck.

Arjo Atayde or Juan Carlos Ocampo Atayde is one of the actors that are making a significant mark in the entertainment industry today. Not only that he is the son of Ms. Sylvia Sanchez but because he has proven that he’s good in his craft, which is none other acting.
I’m a follower of Arjo’s acting career. I have seen him done roles that are truly engaging, he conveys to the viewers what his character is. He truly delivers the character and viewers were very much convinced. Now, on his on going teleserye “Hanggang Saan” where he played the role of Paco, he shows a different side of his acting, the drama side. I’m not sure how hard it is, for him to act dramatically when he’s mom, Sylvia Sanchez, is around and more when he’s acting with her. But I think he still manages to go through with it . Hanggang Saan is a heavy drama teleserye that airs from Monday to Friday at 4pm in ABS CBN.



Just recently, I watched the latest episode of the teleserye where there is a specific scene with plenty of Police Officers and they are to arrest Sonya (the character played by Sylvia Sanchez) because of murder. That was a very sad scene and I was moved to point I’m in tears already. Both Paco (Arjo) and Sonya (Sylvia) shows their prowess in acting. I can really feel the grief of the mother and the son.

On the other side of the drama scene I managed to notice the Police Officers and remembered that Arjo previously played a role in Ang Probinsyano as one of the crooked Police Officer. I really like how Arjo played the character of Joaquin, smart looking and snappy, the only thing is that he is the bad guy in the teleserye “Ang Probinsyano”. I believed most of the viewers remember Arjo as the crooked Police Officer Joaquin. Who wouldn’t watch a teleserye like that I’m sure everyone is hooked up to now.
Like I mentioned earlier, Arjo Atayde is really good in his craft and he make sure that he plays the part very well to the point that he convinces the viewers that he is the character. Though I still see Arjo acting as the goody goody in the teleserye Hanggang Saan, still, I missed his action drama acting. Hopefully, his next teleserye or movie is action. He will definitely perform well and for sure Filipinos will be hook with it and it will definitely leave a mark.

Who wouldn't know Papa P??? Well, I've known him since I was a teenager. Remember the Sprite ads on TV with Toni G shouting "I Love You Piolo!!!", well if you're on that league then you know what I'm saying. Perhaps that was the time he was climbing on top of his career.
Now that his at his 40s, there are so many information that he had shared to bloggers and media during his Birthday BlogCon. I can say that he is truly an outspoken person that he does not mind whatever you ask about him and take note he definitely answers it wholeheartedly. That was a very nice gesture Papa P!
What's more interesting about Papa P is that he is a shy type of person. Of which doesn't show that much. I can say that we're almost the same before when it comes to shyness because my family and friends knows that I am a very shy person and with an inferiority complex as well.

I find it hard to overcome with myself but just like Papa P's words of wisdom to himself  that he is a work in progress and as a result he was able to overcome his shyness. It's hard on my side to overcome it because I'm no celebrity but thankful enough I was able to put up against shyness and made a champion out of me. Perhaps shyness is innate in both of us that there are instances that we cannot avoid but stay as shy as we are.

When Piolo was asked about the things that make him "Kilig". His answer awe everyone, because the things that makes "kilig" or the giggly thing is his son Inigo Pascual, he even coined it as another description and called it #connection. Another interesting revelation Papa P shared to us was the ladies that he finds sexy of which he disclosed  with a reaction that it was "Nakakastress eh". It was a hard question for him but he managed to answer it enthusiastically. Here are the Top 5 ladies that he finds sexy :

Here's another primetime series that will definitely hooked the attention of the audience, the Beki Boxer. Recently, I was invited to attend Beki Boxer Blog Conference, this is the first time that I will feature in my blog a TV series from TV 5 that's why I'm so excited to feature this new kind of Teleserye.


During the blog conference they let the bloggers watched the pilot episode of Beki Boxer, I was glued with this Teleserye and I can say that I can relate on some of the scenes.  Yes, my youngest brother is a Beki and I know his struggles on telling it to our father about his gender.  My Mom and I understand him but of course on my Father's side that was really hard.  It took years before my brother finally told to our father and it took months before my Father finally accepted it.  Oh, that's enough with my life, let's talk about the Teleserye.



Playing the title role is versatile Kapatid actor Alwyn Uytingco, who gets the biggest break in his career with this action-packed but heart warming comedy series.  According to Alwyn, the gay role started in the movie Tanging Ina then it followed with some series of gay roles.  As I watch the pilot episode, he really portray well as a Gay, I guess because of his previous gay roles.  It looks very easy to him but according to him "Mahirap ang pag portray ko dito as a Gay, I need to pretend to be a man but deep inside I am a Gay, while on my other gay role, I am just a Gay".
The story of Rocky Ponciano (Alwyn Uytingco), a young man who is naturally gifted with boxing prowess. When Rocky's father Max (Christian Vasquez), a former boxing champion, lost his crucial fight that eventually doomed his career and tainted his reputation for life, it has become Rocky's ultimate goal to become a world-class boxer to bring back the lost glory of his family. However, Rocky is not your ordinary boxer. While his killer punches can knock down any opponent, he knows deep inside his heart that the king of the ring...is a queen.

Isn't exciting? Yes, it is something new and I will let my eldest son watch it, since TV 5 wants to top kids audience, and they want Filipino viewers to laugh and enjoy watching after hard day at work and before bed time.  They will definitely give happiness on their upcoming Beki Boxer, a comedy series.
