An Entry for the MMFFwith Vice's 4 Characters 12/24/2013 07:01:00 AMI'm pretty much sure no Moms don't know Vice Ganda. From Mondays to Saturdays plus Sundays as well Vice Ganda a week straight present on television. I know because I'm a mom too. Aside from that Vice Ganda has indeed made a lot of blockbuster movies that made him into the status he has now.
This year Vice Ganda will definitely make everyone laugh with the movie Girl Boy Bakla Tomboy, this is an official entry to the 39th Metro Manila Film Festival that promises Filipino movie fanatics a unique viewing experience this coming December 25, as Vice Ganda will not only be playing one character, but a fantastic four !
From the team lead by Direk Wenn Deramas that made box office movies like "Sisterakas", "Praybeyt Benjamin" and "This Guy's in Love with U Mare" released in 2011 and 2012 respectively, were once again reunited to bring viewers "Girl, Boy, Bakla, Tomboy."
In "Girl, Boy, Bakla, Tomboy", Vice Ganda will play four characters of a quadruplets with different personalities. A girl, a boy, a gay, and a lesbian who were separated for a period of time after their parents, played by Joey Marquez and Maricel Soriano, parted ways. But destiny makes a very unusual way to make their paths cross together.
"Hindi madali ang ginawa ni Vice at sana ma-recognize siya sa pelikulang ito. Ultimo yong role niya na bakla, iniba nya. 'Di ito yong dati niyang ginagawa. Nakakabilib!" that's according to Direk Wenn. It is indeed hard for a person like Vice to portray four different characters, when he portrayed the girl role, he has to undergo 60 hours of preparations just to implant a prosthetic breasts on him. Direk Wenn even added that of all the characters, the Tomboy role was the hardest for him. He told Vice to watch how Charice or Aiza Seguerra acts and their ways so that he would be able to portray his character well and good enough and he did it perfectly.
One of the leading men of Vice Ganda was Ejay Falcon who feels a bit awkward while doing the film with Vice, "Oo pero sa simula lang. Magaan katrabaho si Vice and masaya and pelikula kaya ginawa ko lahat para maka-contribute sa movie."
Other cast of the movie are Joey Marquez, Ruffa Gutierrez, Cristine Reyes, Ejay Falcon, JC de Vera, Kiray Celis, JM "Cho" Ibanez, Red Bustamante and Xyriel Manabat.
"Girl, Boy, Bakla, Tomboy" will open on December 25 in cinemas nationwide.
