Ajinomoto Philippines Corporation (APC) is supporting moms everywhere to make more amazing meals with the Eat Well, Live Well. Stay Well cooking show. Hosted by #mamazing celebrity mom Iya Villania and chef Jose Sarasola, the 10-minute cooking show airs every Friday, at 11:20 am on GMA-7, with episodes also uploaded on the Ajinomoto Cookmunity® Facebook page.

“With our newest cooking show, we want to help moms and even any member of the household discover and make better choices for their family through simple yet delicious recipes that anyone can do at home. Through the help of Iya and Chef Jose, our #mamazing moms and homecooks can easily whip up their own nutritious and delicious dishes perfect for the family just by using the AJI-NO-MOTO® Umami Seasoning or AJI-GINISA® Flavor Seasoning Mix,” says Roann Co, APC General Manager Marketing and Public Relations.

The “Eat Well, Live Well. Stay Well” cooking show treats viewers into 13 exciting episodes, which feature different recipes fit for every meal and occasion in the household. With every episode, #mamazing moms and homecooks can learn more ways on how to use the versatility of AJI-NO-MOTO® Umami Seasoning and AJI-GINISA® in making healthy, delicious, and even low-sodium dishes.

Meanwhile, APC also launched the “I Love Ajinomoto” microsite, a virtual cookbook where moms and homecooks can share their recipes and get inspiration from their fellow kitchen wizards. To encourage them to contribute, APC rolled-out the I Love Ajinomoto contest with exciting prizes up for grabs.

To join, interested participants just need to visit iloveajinomoto.ph and share a recipe using AJI-NO-MOTO® Umami Seasoning or the AJI-GINISA®. Apart from moms, anyone in the family who is at least 18 years old can join in too. Submissions just need to include the complete recipe, a photo of the final product, and a picture of the family doing the heart gesture with the dish. Participants can even submit more than one recipe.

Each week, up to top five recipes will be featured on the Eat Well, Live Well. Stay Well cooking show on GMA-7. Senders whose recipes were shared will also receive a gift certificate and a selection of Ajinomoto products.

“We are excited for our #mamazing moms and homecooks to share their recipes and even have it featured on our Eat Well, Live Well. Stay Well cooking show. We hope that this initiative can inspire Filipino families to serve more delicious and healthy dishes for more enjoyable meal times,” adds Co.

Okay, there's one show that I was glad to have seen and known, the Home Foodie. It continues to have shows that teaches and help create simple to prepare, easy to cook and delicious food. So it's another round for the good hosts of Home Foodie as they air their 3rd Season. Home Foodie is hosted by the ever click couple Drew Arellano and Iya Villana-Arellano. Together with the line of products of San Miguel Purefoods, with Celebrity Chefs, RJ Garcia, Rene Ruiz and Nutri Nurse Llena Tan-Arenas will get to share more of the "Madalicious Meals". In addition to that, Home Foodie Madalicious Meals Mobile App was launched during its digital conference, where all home foodies can download the app in their smarthphones and watch 60-second cooking demos as weal as meal planning and preparation tips of the the recipes featured previously on Home Foodie TV episodes. “It’s about time that men should be in the kitchen”, that will be my motto from now on. Well, because my hubby can’t cook that much. When I am going to ask my kids what can Daddy cook for them, they always say “Hotdog” though in a creative way in fairness to Daddy Marco.
We need to teach more our Dear Daddy of some techniques and tips on how to cook delicious foods especially for our kids. Gladly that there will be a show entitled “Home Foodie” that I can let my hubby watch, for him to learn and be confident enough to cook dishes.
Home Foodie is all about inspiring home cooks to reinvent favourites and recreate dishes from food discoveries using San Miguel Purefoods Products.
Thus, Home Foodie dishes are “masarap, masustansya at kayang kaya”. Yes, I experienced it during the launch of Home Foodie. Here are some of the foods during the Launch.







Home Foodie will not only appeal to women but also to men, like my hubby. It also wants men to cook; to be active in the kitchen; hence, Drew Arellano is the perfect host for the show. He has wide mass appeal, is non-alienating and is a true blue foodie. Drew can inspire and encourage men to enjoy food by spending time in his kitchen.

I was starstruck with Chef Logro during our set visit on his show entitled Idol Sa Kusina. He is my idol because I love cooking plus the story behind his success is really wonderful. I am very thankful that GMA Network gave me an opportunity to finally meet and interview him face to face, I love it!

I love watching cooking shows, it let me learn techniques and ways to prepare different dishes for my family. I can cook though but my problem is that I can't cook for a bigger number of hungry palate. Maybe I'm just too scared to cook for an occasion or celebration because of what they might say about my cooking. Hopefully I can overcome that through practice and watching like IDOL SA KUSINA.
Idol sa Kusina is hosted by Master Chef Pablo “Boy” Logro, it is an entertaining and informative cooking show that showcases different style of cooking while chatting to different celebrities guest. Aside from Chef Logro, Idol Sa Kusina is co-hosted with a Celebrity Mom, Ms. Bettina Carlos, who mostly does the dessert part. She loves to do it since it is her passion. Love to see them both they look good and at ease with each other.
Mommies, we can learn more from Idol Sa Kusina and we can apply it in our daily lives. Preparing food for the  family is a must and it helps us bond with our kids. Love to hear from my kids saying “Mommy sarap ng luto mo” that's why I love to watch Cooking Shows and learn more dishes to prepare for our table.

Gladly they gave us an opportunity to visit the set during the taping of Idol Sa Kusina. The particular episode tackled “Pinggang Pinoy” which is about the balance nutrition that each Pinoy needs to have and to share insights about it Ms. Marilou Enteria of National Nutrition Council was there to explain what “Pinggang Pinoy” is.

Pinggang Pinoy, literally translated as Filipino Plate, is a visual representation of what a person should consume on a per meal basis. It is a plate-based food guide that features the right proportion of food that contains the right nutrients needed by the body of an average Filipino.

Idol Sa Kusina also guests the 90s love team Bobby Andrews and Angelu De Leon, they were part of the hit TV series TGIS as Peachy and Wacks. They are still the same couple with funny antics and they look good together, seeing them brings back teenage memories.

Both are part of the newest afternoon serye via GMA Telebabad, “Buena Familia” after the Half Sisters. Bobby Andrew plays the role of Arthur Bunea and Angelu De Leon play his loving wife Bettina Buena. They have 3 daughters which includes Kylie Padilla, Julie Ann San Jose and Mona Louise Rey and I son Julian Trono. They came from a “Buena” familia not until they experienced a big financial problems which will give them a lot of struggles in life.

Here is what Chef Logro and Bettina prepared during the visit of Bobby Andrews and Angelu De Leon.
It was a delightful afternoon in the set of Idol Sa Kusina and I learned more about Chef Boy Logro and Bettina. I would really love to do the dishes that they've prepared for my family especially the Adobo in Luyang Dilaw, My kids love my Adobo and now I can prepare an Adobo with a new twist that they will definitely love it.

According to Chef Logro, he is very thankful on what is happening in his life now. With his accomplishment he wants to share it to others, especially to all his students at his Culinary School. While on the other hand, Bettina is a happy Mom and a Celebrity and a Host. She is into her baking business as well.

SARAP DIVA is a cooking and talk show that is of course hosted by none other than the Asia's Song Bird, Ms. Regine Velasquez-Alcazid.  The show airs every Saturday at 9:40 in morning on GMA 7 and the show is for about an hour.   So moms can have more time to learn and prepare for if they want to serve their latest menu.


This coming Saturday, January 5, is called the "Machete" episode as both of the male guest became the Machete character themselves, Aljur Abrenica and Gardo Versoza togethere with Gladys Guevarra.
