GH Mall unveiled a stunning all-red Christmas tree made with oversized baubles at the East Atrium last November 6, the Christmas tree signals a vibrant and exciting start to the holiday season, also serving as a bright beacon of hope, love, and prosperity for GH Mall shoppers.

This was the first Christmas Tree Lighting ceremony hosted in the new GH Mall, and it was attended by hundreds of visitors and store owners who witnessed the reveal of the luxurious display. The atrium transformed into a winter wonderland with a fabulous snow show and light show. The award-winning Manila Symphony Junior Orchestra and Los Cantates de Manila provided the angelic hymns to put shoppers in a cheerful mood while experiencing the Larger Than Life celebration.

The ceremony was led by Ortigas Land President and CEO Junie Jalandoni, the Ortigas Family, San Juan City Mayor Francis Zamora with First Lady Keri Zamora, Vice Mayor Rafael Agcaoili, and other members of the San Juan local government. They all expressed their excitement for visitors to spend their holidays in GH mall, which has world-class retail, culinary, entertainment, and wellness offerings.

This April, GH Mall will host back-to-back tech events featuring works from the De La Salle - College of St. Benilde (CSB) and St. Paul University Quezon City (SPUQC).

From April 12 to 19, CSB Industrial Design students will showcase their thesis exhibit called “Magnitude: Groundbreaking Innovations.” It will feature 17 practical inventions under various categories: Sustainability, Safety, Health, Productivity, Material Development, and Environment Design.

Enrich your mind with robotics and science

On April 20, SPUQC’s Robotics Club and Young Scientists Club will showcase students’ impressive robots and ingenious experiments in “TEAM UP: Transformative Explorations in Advancing Minds to Unveil Paulinian Excellence” at the GH Mall East Wing Atrium. The activity will have a Sumobot match between members of the clubs, who will control their modified robots in exciting bouts. There will also be a Mini Robot Programming Challenge where students will showcase their problem-solving skills and analytical thinking skills in fun programming activities.

Throughout TEAM UP, visitors can check out the Science Experiment Showcase. Members of Young Scientists Club and Robotics Club will get the chance to exhibit their science experiment for a chance to win special awards.

Get your creative juices flowing and get your art out there! This year’s Sentro Artista - PCSO Nationwide Art Contest 2023 will be held at the GH Mall Atrium this October. The significant collaboration between Sentro Artista and PCSO seeks to fuse the world of art with social impact, uniting artistic creativity with the power to make positive changes in our communities.

The theme this year is “Hindi Umuurong sa Pagtulong,” which artists can interpret in any figurative style. Pre-registered artists will be submitting their entries online from September 26 to 29, 2023 for judging.

A panel of judges will shortlist exceptional works that will be displayed at the GH East Wing Atrium, GH Mall to provide artists a chance to connect with a broader audience. All shortlisted entries will be delivered to the mall from October 25 to 26, 2023 from 10am to 5pm by the participants.

The winning artists will be awarded in November. The most outstanding work will take home the grand prize of P1 million, giving artists the opportunity to gain support and recognition for their talents.
