It has been 4 months since the start of the community quarantine in the Philippines. My kids have been confined inside our house for the last 4 months and they haven’t even seen the main street in our area. They haven’t been to any area except our house.


Since my youngest son has his own youtube channel called Playfull Gelo, my husband and I, come up with a new segment for my son’s vlog, it is called the #FFF or Friday Favorite Food.

Playfull Gelo will featuring some of his favorite foods every Friday, we just don’t know if how long will it take before we cover all of his favorite foods but for now his 1st episode will feature foods from his favorite food chain, Jollibee!



We all know kids love Jollibee and by showing this vlog and blog I do hope that this will raise the attention of kids to love their favorite foods. And of course love your own, which means lets love our Pinoy brand, Jollibee!



My son said that he like almost all of the food in Jollibee. He enjoys eating the food like Chicken Joy, Jolly Spaghetti, Jolly Fries, Regular Yum and his new favorite the Shanghai Roll.

Aside from telling all about his favorite food, surprisingly he shared what are his feelings toward this community quarantine. He actually wants to go out and feel the outside world again, especially going to the mall and the place that gives fun to him like Jollibee, he said that in the video.

Holiday celebration in our family extends until today, January 6, which is the day of the Three Kings and of course my very day.  It is indeed a very long celebration for us because we start with anniversary, birthdays then Christmas, New Year, and finally my birthday plus the Three Kings. 

Well, one of my happy day is being with my Family and for this 2013 my birthday is one of the tiring birthday that I got so far.   Celebrating my birthday with the kids exhaust me very much especially now that my kids are bigger than they used to be, they are so hyper and "makukulit", but i'm happy of that because it is a sign that they are so healthy.


As per my request and as my husband agreed, we went to Eastwood, together with my mother (Mama Lolit). I just hope that my father (Papa Tony) is with us also, but he can't do the long walk and stroll because he easily get tired (but he is not that old ha, according to Papa, LOL).  So he couldn't come with us that day.


As we walked on Eastwood, I laughed out loud, really because my youngest son Gelo did dance the Gangnam style while walking when he heard the music.  Oh, and take note there were people around that they enjoyed looking at him.  Well that's the gift of Gelo to me. Happiness!!!

Well since we're hungry and it is lunch time when we got to the place we need to munch some and also food is really part of our celebration.  So we went to Stackers and have our baked chicken and fries. Gelo and Maki enjoyed the food very much.   My Eldest son Maki enjoying eating the fries while looking/staring outside the resto. I don't know what is in his mind at that moment. It seems that my son is really grown up now. Hay, well my age adds again so what I am expecting of.  We're full as we left the Stackers.


We strolled around at Eastwood Plaza but we did not inside the mall.  My kids were happy, specially when the dancing fountain started. This is their first time at Eastwood.

After that we went to Starbucks and my kids love that Frappuccino.  I am not allowing them cold drinks when were in the house but now I can't restrain them on tasting it.  Love seeing my kids enjoyed every moment with us.


My tiring day and my happy day, yet a better celebration for my Family.  Thanks Gelo, Maki and Mama Lolit and most especially Thank you Dy, Love you.

2011 it was a year of struggle in my family.

First quarter of the year, my father was confined in the hospital. 2nd quarter, i undergone an emergency CS due to bleeding, while my pre term baby Gelo was confined in the hospital for almost 2 weeks. 3rd quarter was a silent quarter of my life, nothing happen, but on the last quarter of the year my 1 year old niece died and my pre term baby Gelo was confined again for almost 1 week due to broncho pneumonia.Whew!!!what a year? Right?

But 2011 was done..struggles done...hopefully...

Unfortunately 2012 another struggle happen, as of this moment my pre term baby Gelo again undergone medication for 1 week and is still under observation. Imagine 39 to 40  degree Celsius temperature..scary...sleepless night...no office work...because i need to stay home with my baby, i need to monitor, i need to talk to our pedia...

Struggle...again...

Hope this circumstances will not last...but i'm very thankful that i face all those struggle and it make me a strong person and realized that my family is very important to me more than other things..and i realize who is your true friend that will help you to coup up in things that.

This time, I just want to take the opportunity to give thanks to JOAN MONISIT for being there to me, she make me strong and make me happy every time i experienced struggle. May the Good Lord bless you always JOAN MONISIT.

I will just want to make my life easy and happy this 2012...I just claim that i am the luckiest and happiest person this year. Some of the Feng Sui explained that those with year of the Rooster will be lucky this year

Will see and find out..what will happen, will it be another struggle or another victory...

Presenting the three guys in my life. It was a bonding day with my family, my husband carried our youngest son Gelo then suddenly our eldest son Maki asked his daddy to carry him also, so he carried our sons. I immediately grab  the camera and took a picture of them. 

Who among my sons is much of a  look a like of my husband? LOL, just asking!

'Til next bonding moment.

Recently, I started blogging again, it was 2009 when I started blogging but then I stopped because it’s not may “forte” to write something about my life. Well, quote and quote, blogging is a sort of making a “diary”. Until my husband eagerly and continuously courted me that it is really fun and fulfilling to engage in blogging. Well, my husband is just like an avid suitor because I remember when he was still courting me, his really persistent, that’s why I gave my precious answer to accept him. I just relate it now that he is persistent again in asking me to blog, there you go..i’m into blogging now.

Now, blogging offers so much more events unlike before. In addition, there are so many online contest and giveaways.


Just like when I joined Mommy Jes’ birthday giveaway, but unfortunately, I did not won the major prizes. I just won a notepad. Mommy Jes’ concept is really nice, because she have a lot of prizes. Just like a notepad that I won, because I am one of the 1st thirty (30) bloggers who join. I am very thankful because her giveaways gave a lot of experiences to me such as first time to join a contest, first time to receive a gift from the contest and first time to receive a mail from the US. It was really fun!

I am now thinking to hold giveaways for my readers soon.

At last we were riding in a cab going to the hospital. Yap! It’s really last!! And I need to accept it. I need to undergo an emergency CS to save me and my baby. As we reached the hospital, I kept on praying. I kept on telling to myself that I need the strength to face all of these. I remembered I asked again a nurse if it’s really last to do an emergency CS, the nurse answered me, “Yes mam, and your OB-gyne is already waiting there in the operation room”.

At the emergency room, of course a lot of things need to do first before the operation.

The Deposit…the hospital needs 10k deposit to allow me to undergo an operation. I have only on my hand was 5k, I asked my mom to pay it and tell them that once my husband arrived he will give the extra 5k. My mother requests in the hospital and thankful that they accepted my deposit even it was only 5k.

The documents…a lot of documents needed to fill up once confined in the hospital. Our staff keeps on asking me on what she will write on the said documents since my mother was still in the cashier. This was the funny part of this experiences, (imagine hurt is in the air but the humor still there to cheer me up), since our staff in the office keep on asking me, I rather fill up the documents by myself. So I asked first the nurse to please explain to me every page of that document. I told them that I need to know it first before I fill up because maybe I cannot go out this hospital or they gonna sell me (oh well that’s a joke) but despite of the humor I have, the nurse looked frowning as he continue explaining every page of the documents. After I heard all the explanation, I started now filling up all the needed information, while I’m doing those things, our staff Ate Jho said “Mam ang tapang mo naman, ikaw pa ang nag fill up ng documents habang dinudugo ka na at malapit ng operahan” (Mam you’re so brave, because you can fill up those stuff while you’re in pain and ready to go on the operation). Well, I need to be strong, I need to be brave, I need to face all these….I want to shout!!!I want to be positive!!!I want to save my baby!!!!!

I am now sitting in a wheel chair, going to the operation room, I keep on praying…give me strength…help me…save me and my baby…guide me in all these….Now, at the operating room, my doctor keep on talking to me, that I felt that they want me to be strong and be ready, they keep on talking to me that will ease the pain and the worries. I am lying now on the bed, the pedia keep on asking me where is your husband? What happened?a lot of question just to get me busy and to turn my attention to them not to the nurse that keep on doing on my body just to ready me on the operation. My pedia told me “you should love yourself than to love your work” and “give a lot of care when your pregnant”. That phrases still in my mind, Yay! I should love my self other than anything, and I need to give a lot of care when I’m pregnant.

The anesthesiologist saying hi to me!!! I know what will happen next, the injection that’s the scary moment in my life. I hate injection! I really really hate it! But in my mind I need to undergo on that procedure. All the doctors hold me in my feet, in my body, in my hands. The doctor told me not to move…wahhhh….here it is! Suddenly, I felt the pain, oops..i move…the doctor said “don’t move mommy, we gonna do it again..waahh. I should behave or else….

Then I felt numbing in my body. They inject me again in my shoulder, I did not feel anything. Waahh…then I felt sleepy in just a moment, but still my mind is awake, because I remembered anesthesiologist said that I’m awake during the operation because I ate my lunch, I should not eat for how many hours I think before the operation, unfortunately, since it's an emergency, unavoidable circumstances occur. ….5pm…the doctor said, it’s a boy!!!Finally!!!i heard Gelo is crying on a very loud voice..I smile though I felt groggy. Then after that sound..i slept…hoping for in just a while, I will see my son and I will hug him, carry him, and kiss him.
