Beginning February 26, GMA Network proudly unveils its first-ever "advoca-serye" in Hindi Ko Kayang Iwan Ka, topbilled by Yasmien Kurdi, Martin del Rosario, Jackie Rice, and Mike Tan.

This Afternoon Prime soap, which tackles one of the most serious and fatal diseases in the world, brings to light the struggles of a woman who is HIV positive and how she battles her own frailties and demons in life.
Yasmien breathes life to Thea Balagtas, a simple provincial girl with a promising career as a public accountant. She falls in love with Marco and marries him. Eventually, they are blessed with fraternal twins whom they love very much.
Martin is Lawrence De Leon, Thea's college friend from a well-off family. Secretly, he is in love with her even though he dates a lot of women and develops HIV (Human Immunodeficiency Virus) from this.

Jackie is Ava Imperial, Marco's beautiful and socialite ex-girlfriend. She shuffles to and from the United States for pleasure and business. Even though she flirts around, she is still bent on settling with Marco.
Mike is Marco Angeles, a handsome and charming lad who falls in love with Thea and marries her despite his mother's refusal. He remains independent and grounded even though he was born rich.

Hindi Ko Kayang Iwan Ka follows the life of Thea who, after marrying Marco and raising their fraternal twins together, her blissful life shatters when she tests positive for HIV. Without knowing who she got it from, Marco is led to believe that she cheated on him and files for legal separation, taking their kids with him. Her disease worsens and she loses her will to live. But when she unexpectedly meets her daughter a few years later, she finds it in herself to fight more than just HIV--her greatest opponent, herself.

Joining them in this ground-breaking project are multi-talented and versatile artists: award-winning film actress and TV director Gina Alajar as Adelaida Angeles, Marco's elitist and territorial mother who always resorts to schemes in order to get what she wants; Shamaine Buencamino as Magda Balagtas, Thea's superstitious mother who will fight with her through and through; Charee Pineda as Anna Balagtas, Thea's older sister who deeply cares for her mother and sibling; Ina Feleo as Sofia Angeles, Marco's older and principled sister who is a doting aunt to the twins; Mike "Pekto" Nacua as Tantoy Cruz, Thea's cousin who will fight for her; Catherine Rem as Olga Cruz, Thea's feisty cousin who works and resides in Manila; Caprice Cayetano as Angela Angeles, the daughter of Thea and Marco who grows up as a daddy's girl; Seth Dela Cruz as Maurice Angeles, Thea and Marco's son among the fraternal twins.
The series aims to raise HIV awareness and educate viewers on its effects upon a person's life through an intriguing drama--that even in our weaknesses, strength can be found if we only rise and have the courage to fight for our loved ones and ourselves.
Behind this engrossing drama is the creative team composed of Creative Director Roy Iglesias; Concept creator Zita Garganera; Headwriter Suzette Doctolero; Creative Head for Afternoon Prime Block Dode Cruz and Creative Consultant Kit Langit.

Mike Tan happily celebrated his 29th birthday at Infinite Blessed Home Care located at Don Antonio Heights, Quezon City. He shared his blessings through charily works. He spent time with the elders because it reminds him of his grandparents.



Mike Tan got the chance to mingle with the lolo's and lola's at the Home Care. He even sung a few songs with them, personally gave food and ate with them and had a small chit chat with the elderly. His glances shows how he respect the elderly that much like what we usually did. Most of our elders instructs as to "bless your lolo and lola" which most of today's teenagers forgets. They didn't know that it is one of the ways of showing respect to our grandparents. Good job Mike Tan!
As of the moment, Mike Tan is part of the GMA Afternoon Prime Teleserye, "Ika-6 na Utos". It tackles about married life and how important fidelity, loyalty and trust is in the family aside from love. Joining him in the teleserye are Ryza Ceno, Sunshine Dizon and Mr. Gabby Concepcion.



Mike Tan shared that there are lots of lessons to be learned in their teleserye, one of it is on how to handle if ever they encounter that kind of situation. Mike is very thankful as well because GMA continuously give him challenging roles that enhances his acting ability.
When Mike Tan was asked about what are the activities that makes him busy now, he shared that he is now busy with the Teleserye, planning the holiday vacation and do some training like swimming.

"The Millionaire's Wife" is a story about one woman’s crucial decision to settle in a marriage of convenience with an older man, and its subsequent consequences involving her step-daughter, her step-daughter’s children, her lovechild and her lovechild’s father.
Andrea Torres is The Millionaire’s Wife. She will breathe life to the character of Louisa Ignacio, a hardworking single mother who lives for her son. Louisa will do everything for her son; even marry a rich old man. She vows to take care, to serve and to be a loyal and dutiful wife to him in exchange of all the help he is giving her son who has juvenile diabetes.
Portraying the character of Louisa is Andrea’s most mature role to date and she is very excited to take on the role. “It’s the most mature role that I’ve done pati ‘yun story, it’s very different. Kaya nga sobrang laking bagay sa akin na nakuha ko ito kasi nung nabasa ko ang script, ang story parang hindi ko pa siya napapanood sa TV tapos ako yung napili para gawin siya, nakaka-excite talaga.”
Mike Tan is Ivan Meneses. He is willing to do everything for his loved ones especially Louisa. They both have loved each other until an illegal job caused Ivan to go to jail not knowing he got Louisa pregnant. All the while, Louisa thought that Ivan had abandoned her. Eventually, he finds out that he has a son with Louisa and will do anything to win her and their son back. 

For Mike, playing the role of Ivan is far from the characters he portrayed in the past and this is one of the things viewers should watch out for. “Ang kailangan nilang abangan kung papaano tatatak si Ivan sa mga manunood. Kung papaano niya ipaglalaban ang pagmamahal niya kay Louisa at doon sa anak nila.”

Louisa, a devoted mother that she is, started raising her child alone and worked as a nurse at a hospital until she was hired to be a private nurse of Alfredo ‘Fred’ Vergara played by Robert Arevalo, after he went into a stroke. Fred is a widower and one of the richest businessmen in the country who owns the biggest food manufacturing company, Nourish Food Corp.

Fred, being the longing individual that he was, found compassion in Louisa and offered her marriage for companionship against his family’s approval.
Jaclyn Jose is Stella Vergara-Montecillo, Alfredo’s spoiled unica hija. Stella knows how to spend her money but she doesn’t know how to earn it.
Sid Lucero is Jared Montecillo, Stella’s son. He is an underachiever and his life is all about gambling, alcohol and women.
Ina Raymundo is Allison Montecillo, Stella’s only daughter who runs her grandfather’s company. She is business savvy and her goal is always to be on top.
The one who is Louisa’s constant support is Rio Samson played by Rich Asuncion. She is Louisa’s best friend and confidante.

Yours Truly got the opportunity to interview Mike Tan anything about him. He is so a straightforward guy and always ready to answer all our questions.
Mike Tan was the Starstruck Ultimate Male Survivor Batch 2. He’s been part of some teleserye at GMA Network like Kambal Sirena, Dading, Pari Ko’y and The Rich Man’s Daughter.
Mike also shared that he recently joined Aquathlon. The sport of Aquathlon consists of a continuous, two-stage race involving swimming followed by running. He said that he is so excited because this is his first time to join in a competition.
Mike Tan said that he has a non-showbiz girlfriend for almost 9 years. He shared also that his girlfriend is very supportive and best critics when it comes to acting. According to him that “trust” is the key for long lasting relationship.
Mike’s dream role is to portray as a psycho, it will be a challenging role for him. He wants to give something new to all his supporters as an actor so that it will show how versatile Mike is.
As a mommy, I want to know his daily regimen to stay fit and his grooming routine since I do have 2 sons. Take a glimpse of my interview in this video.
