There are many reasons to enjoy Christmas. For me,  I think I lost count of how many times I tried to make our Christmas celebration different from the other, but then again I would still want my family's Christmas Celebration the best ever here in the Philippines. Am I right Mommies?

For this year, I think we've got something different as a start because celebrating with the family is great and with more reason to enjoy. Besides my sister-in-law lives in Lancaster.
Lancaster New City, the flagship project of property developer PRO-FRIENDS, brings forth this joyful Christmas spirit to families and guests as it features this year's local blockbuster films at its Open Air Cinema, last December 9, 4pm at Central Greens, Lancaster New City Cavity.


I was able to have a chance to witness this kind of festivity in Cavite but before watching the films, Lancaster have some fun treats for everyone at the game activity booths which opened from 4pm to 7pm. Activities includes Poke A tree, Christmas Wreath Toss and Under the Mistletoe. Participants may upload their pictures on social media under the hashtag #OpenAirCinemaOneLancaster.

I'm glad that Sister-In-Law and her family is one of the homeowners at Lancaster and were available to enjoy the what Lancaster presents for the Lancaster Families. Yes, I really enjoyed it as well together with my nephews and niece, since we seldom see each other. The kids really had fun with the activities and even Santa Claus is there to give chance for a photo op.


The open-air cinema event is mounted in partnership with Cinema One as part of the major event of Lancaster New City 2017 Christmas celebrations.

Here are the movies that was enjoyed during the open-air movie experience.

• Director Antoinette Jadaone's "Love You To the Stars and Back" will make you believe once again in the power of love- its ability to fill the void inside of us and heal our broken parts. Reel and real partners Joshua Garcia (Caloy) and Julia Barretto (Mika) grace the screen as they find love in each other in the midst of their individual life's quest.

• Mae Cruz Alviar's "Can't Help Falling In Love" stars Kathryn Bernardo (Gab) and Daniel Padilla (Dos) , and is about the crazy and and confusing set-up of two people who are unknowingly married to each other.

Also, the 20-foot family sculpture called "Perpetuity" created by award-winning Filipino Atist Merlito Gepte, was blessed. The art symbolizes the happy, united and active family that Lancaster New City is home to.

More than being a residential area, the 1600-hectare community also house a church, a commercial-retail-business district, and its own transport hub that gives residents easy access to buses and shuttles for an easy commute around the development.





Also conveniently located inside Lancaster New City is St. Edward Integrated School (SEIS), a private school for students from Kindergarten to Senior high school. There is also the Leighton Hall Clubhouse with its outdoor pool and ballroom for various events.
