Dance challenges using OPM garnered more than 1 billion views, led by #marikitdancechallenge with 964.6 million views.

Upon its release, Crush has already celebrated a number of achievements on various platforms. It topped the iTunes Philippines All Genre Chart, joining top hits of OPM and world music alike. Since its release, the song has already garnered more than 120,000 streams on Spotify, with Elmo having been featured as the face of New Music Friday Philippines on the week of the song's release. On top of this, the track has also been included in several playlists around Asia such as Singapore, Vietnam, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Thailand.

The modern track revolves around the typical high school crush and “getting bit by the love bug” - having such strong feelings for someone, yet so unsure of how they feel about you.

"Crush" was produced in Hawaii, and allowed Elmo to step out of his comfort zone and try new things. As he is still in the process of finding his sound, he says that this song is “a gateway to an unexplored Elmo”.

Prior to this song, Elmo released a self-titled album back in 2016, and recently collaborated with Hawaiian-Filipino artist MiMi, on the song entitled “Keke Love.”

A Pinoy Boyband Superstar finalist is ready to make his mark into the OPM scene with the release of his debut single 'Langit Pag Nandiyan'.

23-year-old singer-songwriter Mark Oblea was first discovered in the hit reality singing competition Pinoy Band Superstar (the show originally aired in 2016), in which he made it as one of the Top 7 finalists.

Though he did not win the competition, Mark, with his penchant for writing his own songs and playing guitar, still decided to pursue his music career.

Having signed a recording deal with Universal Records in December 2017, Mark is now set to release his first single entitled 'Langit Pag Nandiyan.' The song was written by Gracenote lead vocalist Eunice Jorge, and produced by hit-making producer Ito Rapadas. Talking about the meaning behind the song, Mark says "The song is about honoring someone [special in your life]. It can be a song for a friend, a loved one, a relative, or [anyone who's always there to support you despite different setbacks and challenges.] At the same time, it is also a personal anthem for all the people who've been a part of my journey to pursue my dreams"

With his rugged good looks, charm, and musical talent, Mark is bound to win the hearts of many fans worldwide.

Mark is also slated to sing the theme song ‘Fiona’ for an upcoming indie film “Bakwit Boys,” produced by T-Rex Productions. Next on his list is his debut EP, which feature songs written by Mark himself.

Presented by Rockford Productions, Inc., Full Blast PinoySuper Bands gathers legendary and OPM rock icons in what is easily one of this year’s biggest and much-awaited musical events.

If you've read some of my previous post, you can say that I'm an avid follower of Michael Pangilinan's concerts and events. Just recently, I had another fantastic night of concert with this Harana Prince Michael Pangilinan and Prima Diva at the Music Box in Timog, Quezon City. It was dubbed as "Not Just The 2 Of Us" and it was true because they have special guests that  are talents of Jobert Sucaldito' like Kiel Alo and Ezekiel. Also present were Hashtag Nikko and Boobsie Wonderland.
Pink Mannequins did an opening performance at the concert and made the audiences very lively with their comedic acting. After the Pink Mannequins, Prima Diva Billy sung Moana's theme song "How Far I'll Go", for sure if my kids were there they have sung it as well. Most of the kids love that song. It was nice that Billy made an awesome welcoming of the audience.
Prima Diva Billy is a professional singer who is based in Dubai, U.A.E. She performs at Club 7 Park Regis Hotel in Dubai and of course here in the Philippines as well.
The next performer was Kiel Alo who performed well at the concert.
Ezekiel who is one of the fresh faces in the industry, also perform in the concert and he is a good looking guy.
Who wouldn't know Boobsie Wonderland who made her audiences alive and full of fun and laughter, especially when she did a funny interpretation of "Luha" by Aegis while Prima Diva Billy sings it.
The crowd enjoyed the performance of Hashtag Nikko who sung "Simpleng Tulad mo" by Daniel Padilla.

I was amazed on how Tawag ng Tanghalan Runner Up Sam Mangubat performed during the concert. This was my first time to see him perform on stage it was really a superb performance.





Finally, the much awaited performance of Michael Pangilinan begun that made the crowd literally scream and of course enjoy the night.
Michael Pangilinan has been busy doing back to back concerts lately, his last was with Kaye Cal at Historia Bar then Dougbrock's 25K Magic Concert and he was also part of #PLDTHomeUltera provincial tour.

Gloc-9 is celebrating his 20th year in the Philippine music industry and to mark the milestone, the multi-awarded rap icon has renewed his ties with his former label Universal Records.

“Universal is family. Yung mga trabaho ko dati, mga ginawa ko noon, maganda ang naging relationship namin. With family, you treasure the relationship you have,” says Gloc – 9, who is currently recording songs for his brand new EP called Rotonda under Universal Records.

The five-track EP, set to be released soon, will feature mostly collaborations with OPM artists. These include the track Rotonda and the album’s carrier single Ice Tubig, a collaboration with Mike Luis.

“Ito ay tungkol sa isang babae na ang kanyang puso ay parang ice tubig”, shares Gloc-9 as he expresses his excitement over his new project in his new home.

Ice Tubig will also be the first music video that will be released by Gloc-9 from his new EP.

When you hear that familiar voice and familiar sound you'll definitely would like to hear it again and again and that's what I did after attending at Michael Pangilinan's concert entitled “Michael Really Sounds Familiar” at the Music Museum. It really sounds more than being serenaded by his voice with the songs that he sung during the concert. Of course he also did some of today's hit musics.
If you're familiar with the TV show "Your Face Sounds Familiar", Michael Pangilinan was one of the celebrity contestants that showed only his singing talent but the total package of entertaining the audience. His voice really got power in it plus the x-factor that made it a voice to fall at, most particularly with the ladies.


In this concerts Michael Pangilinan also got guest performers and special guest that will entertaining the entire audience of Music Museum for that particular night. Performers are Emil John Olisco who did the violin, Kara who did some fast songs after her duet with Michael, Jeffrey Hidalgo who I rarely heard of, the tandem of Boobay and Ate Gay that made everyone in Music Museum laugh their hearts out, and of course the very special guest of Michael Pangilinan, Ms. Garie Concepcion. Plus a special guest that he didn't really know, Ms. Denise Laurel who sung with him.


A powerful voice need not to be settled in small concert halls perhaps a much bigger venue on his next concert would be great.  Congratulations Michael Pangilinan for a successful concert!
