Three years since their partnership with World Vision started, PascualLab sponsors led by Vice President for Corporate HROD and Design Services & Corporate Affairs Mia Pascual Cenzon, finally met their sponsored children face to face, at a bonding activity during PascualLab’s anniversary month at the   World Vision grounds in Quezon City.

To spread the #PascualLove as part of its CSR program Sowing to Empower, Educate, and Develop (SEED), Pascual Laboratories, Inc. (PascualLab) sponsor-employees spent a weekend of bonding over an art activity, talent showcase, group games, and basic health checks with children from World-Vision assisted communities in Malabon last May 6, 2023 at the World Vision grounds in Quezon City.  

PascualLab, a partner of international charitable institution World Vision since 2020, has been sponsoring children in less-fortunate communities in Malabon via the CHOSEN program. Through the program, these children were given the chance to pick their sponsors, essentially choosing people who can help them realize their wishes for education towards better lives amidst challenges including the current health crisis.  

Three years into the pandemic and during PascualLab’s anniversary month, the sponsors were finally able to be with the children who have CHOSEN them. Malabon plays a significant place in PascualLab’s history as the Pascual family traces its roots to this Northern part of Manila.  PascualLab VP and CHOSEN sponsor Mia Pascual Cenzon shared: “PascualLab has always had a passion for CSR and a heart for family so we take every chance to help others through our health products and in more ways such as the CHOSEN program”. 

After a memorable digital celebration #PascualLoveLiveat75, Pascual Laboratories, Inc., one of the trusted pharmaceutical companies in the Philippines¹, extends the celebrations to more Filipinos by joining hands with health guru Dr. Willie Ong.

True to its 75th anniversary campaign #PascualLove, the company found it fitting to partner with Dr. Willie Ong because of their shared passion for health and social responsibility. Dr. Ong or “Doc Willie” as he is more popularly known, is a cardiologist and a known philanthropist.

As part of the partnership, Dr. Ong will be mounting two “MEDtalks with Doc Willie Ong” to provide more health information, the first one happening on July 30. Dr. Ong who is an advocate of more affordable medicine for a wider public, shares his knowledge through his newspaper column, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, and youtube @Doc Willie Ong

Through the tie-up, PascualLab will be donating vitamins and food supplements to Dr. Ong’s chosen donees. Dr. Ong is a philanthropist who has been donating medicines and beyond, to less fortunate members of society.

Leveraging on what PascualLab has to offer in terms of health innovations, Dr. Ong has been sharing Poten-Cee adult and pedia products to community members in Southville III, Muntinlupa City; frontliners at San Lazaro Hospital; and residents at Baseco Compound in Tondo starting last year.

This July, officers of PascualLab will welcome Drs. Willie and Liza Ong to Balagtas, home of PascualLab’s manufacturing plant, to personally turn over Poten-Cee N.A., Poten-Cee Plus, and C-Lium Fibre Special Edition to the residents, children, and medical frontliners in the municipality through the Regional Health Unit.

The partnership is part of PascualLab’s CSR program SEED which stands for Sowing to Empower, Educate, and Develop. Driven by the company’s value of social responsibility, PascualLab’s CSR program hopes to plant the seeds of charity, fellowship, and volunteerism through initiatives in health, education, and the environment — all in the hope of helping transform Filipino communities for the better.

Beautiful. Strong. Confident. These are the traits that Poten-Cee, the official vitamin partner of the 2019 Bb. Pilipinas, is looking for in its first ever Bb. Poten-Cee Gandang Palaban. Pascual Laboratories, Inc. (PascualLab), makers of the #1 Adult Vitamin C brand Poten-Cee (based on the latest IMS Report), recently announced its search for the Bb. Poten-Cee Gandang Palaban through its subsidiary, Pascual Consumer Healthcare Corp (PCHC). The lucky winner will be chosen from among this year’s Bb. Pilipinas candidates and will be awarded during the Binibining Pilipinas coronation night on June 9, 2019 Sunday.

PCHC Marketing Head Beth Sheba “Pepsi” Alacar announced this during the ladies’ visit to PascualLab manufacturing plant, where she expounded on what makes one a Gandang Palaban. Alacar said: “PascualLab has partnered with Binibining Pilipinas to award the young lady who truly exemplifies how the Filipino woman of today can face her responsibilities and challenges with grit and grace, be trusted to deliver what is expected of her, and feels empowered to rise above any occasion. And, whoever wins the crown this year, we hope you bring the same spirit of Poten-Cee’s Gandang Palaban with you wherever it may take you.”

Gines Enriquez, head of Binibing Pilipinas Charities, Inc. (BPCI) shared: “The partnership will enable the organization to build relationships with brands such as Poten-Cee that have wellness and health in mind. He added: “Both BPCI and Poten-Cee are Pinoy-based institutions that are set out to empower the modern Pinay who are beyond beauty and who exemplify health as well. “

During the candidates’ visit and engagement with Pascual Laboratories, the ladies already showcased their Gandang Palaban. The candidates were eager to learn more about Poten-Cee Vitamin C and its dual benefit of beauty and immunity, how it is made, how to arm themselves against sickness and other challenges, and what they can achieve with a healthy lifestyle. The ladies toured four areas of the manufacturing plant, as well as the rest home of founders Isosceles and Leonora Pascual, which is located at the back of the Bulacan property. The 70’s- style house has been transformed into a museum, showcasing memorabilia and other items of importance for the Pascual family, and from PascualLab’s history.

Leading the tour was Director for Corporate HR, Design Services and Corporate Communications (DSCC) Mia Pascual Cenzon who was supported by PascualLab Vice President for Supply Group, Engr. Higinio Porte, Director for Supply Chain Management and Plant HR Charmaine Abueva, Director for Quality Assurance, Product Development and Plant Organizational Development Mario Soliven, and Associate Director for Manufacturing Jesse Santiago.

As a prelude to the search, the ladies participated in the Gandang Palaban IG Challenge where they were encouraged to pose with their complimentary Poten-Cee products in their most creative pose and then use the hashtag #GandangPalaban

The 2019 Bb. Pilipinas will be awarding five main Bb. Pilipinas titles: Binibining Pilipinas International, Binibining Pilipinas Intercontinental, Binibining Pilipinas Supranational, Binibining Pilipinas Globe, and Binibining Pilipinas Grand International, foremost of which is the Binibining Pilipinas Universe whose last winner was Filipino-Australian Catriona Gray who eventually won as Ms. Universe 2019.
