It is one of the happiest experience to be with your Lolo and Lola, unfortunately I did not experienced that much with my grandparents. Both of my Lolas and Lolos from my father and my mother side were all in His loving arms during my elementary days.
My kids are fortunate that their grandparents are still with us and every occasions we visited them. They enjoy so much everytime we visited them and in every occasion we made sure that they had a great bonding with them. Last May, was very painful for us because that's the time my father, their Lolo, left us for good.

Still, so many reason to continue our lives, and we are very thankful as well that my father, their Lolo and still guiding us from above.

Present during the media conference of SM GrandParents' Day were Jackielou Blanco and Angeli Pangilinan-Valenciano.

Both Jackielou and Angeli shared how they're going to spend GrandParents Day with their APOs. They're so proud as Lola now, they love to be with their Apos and spend time with them.

Starting August 29, "Grand" treats and activities for Lolos and Lolas include exciting shopping and dining deals, and the sounds of the 60s Fitness Party, where mallgoers can join our elderly as they get fit with fun fitness classes.

Also not to be missed are the All with Apo, an activity where grandparents can learn useful mobile apps with their grandkids at SM Cyberzone; and the Art with Apo ( Sept 9, 10), where Lolos and Lolas can enjoy meaningfil bonding moments with their apos through arts and crafts. Come Grandparents' Day (sept 10), there will be a special blessings for Grandparents after the Sunday Mass.

Of course my kids will love to be with their Lolo and Lolas at SM mall to have a bonding moment with them. Will definitely visit SM with my family and my mother, my kids Lola, to spend GrandParents Day, we are going to stroll and give some present to Lola Lolit from her APOs and then we are going to dine in one of the restos at SM. We will definitely buy some food and bring it to my in-laws because they can't go with us because my father-in-law is already bedridden. My in-laws will definitely have a bonding moment with their Apos through a salu-salo with the food that we are going to buy at SM.
