One of the milk tea brand or should I the cult favorite, the CoCo, just recently won the People's Choice Award for Favorite Milk Tea brand, has officially kicked off its much buzzed-about 3-day CoCo Chill Camp today at the SM Mega Fashion Hall, this is one happy celebration uniting the CoCo fans.

The CoCo Chill Camp is CoCo's way of expressing its warmest thanks to its hordes of fans who have tirelessly queued up in all its branches nationwide, to get their personal favorite drinks.

Ever since young entrepreneur Larry Evans Tan brought CoCo to the Philippines five years ago from the milk tea capital of the world, Taiwan, CoCo has rapidly become a top player in the Filipino milk tea craze and is one of the strongest markets of the CoCo brand worldwide.
CoCo leads in the global tea market with a formidable 4,000 branches spread out across the world and posting an incredible sale of 100 cups per second globally.

In the Philippines, where it has become the go-to milk tea brand, one CoCo cup is sold every 4 minutes via delivery alone - further proving the love for CoCo that expands beyond the physical store.

Social media rockstars, who are self-confessed CoCo lovers, ThatsBella, Rei Germar, Janina Vela and LA Aguinaldo, joined the other CoCo fans on the opening day, sharing their love for the brand and revealing their favorite CoCo drinks. ThatsBella and Rei also had the opportunity to visit Taiwan last month to interview CoCo founder Chairman Tommy Hung.

After almost four months of search for the best and most unique shoe designs, Figlia is mounting the final round for its first-ever shoe design contest, dubbed as 'My Beautiful Sole' on Friday, February 14, 3pm on the 5/F of SM Megamall's Bridgeway, Ortigas Center, Pasig City.

The contest was launched in October 2013 and received an enermous response from various creative individuals from as far as Sorsogon. Contestants used materials such as scrap fabric, recycled paper, G.I. wire and more. With this competition, Figlia provided a venue for aspiring show designers to showcase their innovative and potentially appealing designs that might just win the heart of the audiences, not just the judges of the said tilt.

Its contest theme is 'Self-Expression' and aims to the creativity and design skills of Filipinos by creating a prototype of what they envision their respective shoes would look like. The grand winner will receive a brand new Wacom unit and so as his mentor and three thousand worth of Figlia gift certificates and a Starcard membership. There will be four runners-up with corresponding load of prizes, too.



To come up with the best results and winners, Figlia gathered an interesting mix of panel judges. They are Rommel Calaspara of Wacom Philippines, who is proud partner of this maiden design contest: Janeena Chan, a TV host, VJ and a model-actress combined; Ricardo Cepeda, a former fashion and commercial model and both a film and TV actor; Marina Benipayo, a former Binibining Pilipinas title holder and represented the country in Miss World and currently a mentor at School of Fashion and Arts (SoFA); Leeroy New, a production designer for feature and short films, for music videos and for theater production as well;

 
and the chairman of the board of judges is Joey Enriquez, the president of Charter International Incorporated, the makers of the successful Filipino shoe brands for women-Figlia.

Glad that I was present when this event happens because there were plenty of surprises and prizes that I have taken away home and of course I did have a great time watching the program prepared SM MEGAMALL.  Also I did enjoy watching those iButterfly fly around on android operated gadgets.   It was a blast of fun playing and butterfly catching activity.
