Most of the time, my bonding moments with my kids are either indoor or outdoor. This summer, we did travel to the south but no further outside of the metro just to let my kids experience some socialization with other kids.  This is to let them give an opportunity to mingle and go out of their comfort zone (our house).

Timely that Nido Fortified and Science Discovery launched NFSDC's High Tech Facilities and their new advocacy.  My teammate for this specific event was Maki (my eldest son) We went to SM Mall of Asia to witness the said event.

First they did a program and some few games for the kids.  Mommies are so happy seeing their kids enjoy playing with other kids.  They informed us, mommies, in the event about the importance of  having quality time indoor or outdoor.  There are lots of activities to do, simple yet enjoyable, I guess mommies have lots of idea to express quality time with the kids .

For Maki and Me, this is an outdoor activity that we really enjoyed.  This visit at NFSDC was our second time so Maki is familiar with the venue, his favorite part of the tour was inside the Planetarium. He enjoyed watching and listening on the explanation particularly on the life cycle of stars. 


NFSDC was launched in 2008, it is the country's first technology based, highly interactive Science Center in the Philippines. Nido Fortified and the Science Discovery center merged to reach the common path of helping kids reach their maximum potentials through the Nido Fortified Science Discovery Center.

But this year, they are set to take the journey to greater heights following a renewed partnership to launch a new advocacy campaign and unveil its new state-of-the-art planetarium with the most advanced and sophisticated theater system in the country.


Dubbed Yes You Can! Gallery & Mommy Caravan, the latest advocay of NFSDC revolves around the thought of promoting child development via effective and trusted collaborations. The very idea-it takes a TEAM to raise good and intelligent children. According to Mr. Arturo Carballo, Jr. Senior Operations Manager of the NFSDC says, "This team is composed of the mommies and the kids themselves.  For teams to do well, they need good teammates. We want to be the teammates you can rely on through the Yes You Can! Gallery & Mommy Caravan."

Through this Gallery & Caravan, NFSDC aims to offer mothers a venue to learn tips and techniques on how to raise a kid who is smart, intuitive and healthy which are the main qualities of a Yes You Can! child.


The gallery and caravan also lined up a list of family bonding activities ranging from interactive games, workshops, and kiddie attractions where kids can channel their creative energies.

So hurry mommies, try to visit the Nido Fortified and Science Discovery Center to experience their high tech facilities and to have a bonding moment with your little ones. NFSDC is a two-level facility at the SM Mall of Asia Complex in Pasay City, and is open from Monday to Sunday, 10am to 10pm.
