Another much awaited teleserye will be airing at ABS-CBN. This time, an old story featured in comics.  Who among here have read a comics? Have you enjoyed reading it? What about the Carlo J, Caparas works?

Well if you don't perhaps watching it is much better.  Here is another teleserye that will make your after viewing more interesting.  I, myself did not read the "Dugong Buhay" of Carlo J. Caparas but hopefully watching it and waiting for each episode will sure enlighten me with it's story.


According to Carlo J. Caparas, the TV remake of “Dugong Buhay” is a special project for him because it is his tribute for workers who were mistreated by their landlords. “The TV remake of ‘Dugong Buhay’ is a beautiful creation that resulted from preparation, hardwork and remarkable creative talent of the people behind it.  The gist of the story is intact and there's a pleasant addition as well. 


For director Toto Natividad, having the opportunity to direct Caparas’ masterpiece is a huge honor for him. “This is a big challenge for me because this is not only about battles and action. ‘Dugong Buhay’ is a tension-filled drama series with a lot of heart,” he said.


Meanwhile, the whole cast of ABS-CBN’s newest teleserye are all excited to be a part of “Dugong Buhay.” “TV viewers will be able to relate with this series because it is about everyone’s capacity to forgive,” said Nonie, who will portray the role of Simon.

Most of the reaction on this teleserye that most of the actors and actresses are not that famous, so why they chooses them for this? According to Ms. Ginny the Business Unit Head "Para mapakita at mabigyan ng chance yung ibang actor na mabigyan ng pagkakataon mg shine."

 For young actor Ejay, “Dugong Buhay” is a dream come true project. “I have always wanted to do an action drama series that is why I’m very grateful that my wish has been granted.”
 
Aside from other artist, this will also be the come back teleserye of Sunshine Cruz after 13 years.  Most of the time, she's just an extra or a litte character on different teleserye, but this time she is one of the cast.  "ABS-CBN yan sinu ba di mag oo, great honor to play as a mom, I am very thankful to ABS-CBN for the trust that they have given me for this kind of project. I am very thrilled and at the same time very nervous about the outcome of my performance.”, according to Sunshine Cruz.

“Dugong Buhay” will feature the lifetime search for vengeance of a hacienda worker named Simon against the cruelty of the De Lara family. Because of his burning hatred since he was young, Simon is going to use his own son Victor (Ejay) to destroy the people who maltreated his family.
