X Factor Philippines announced already their Grand Champion, KZ Tandingan. After that, the Top 12 launch their album.



iTunes Philippines consistent no. 1 record, "The X Factor Philippines" All Star Album, is now finally available on record stores nationwide! Produced by Star Records, the album features 13 tracks which were already sang by the Final 12 during the elimination rounds of ABS-CBN's recently concluded reality-talent search. "The X Factor Philippines:

All Star album include the well-applauded rendition of Killing me Softly preformed by KZ Tandingan, It will Rain by 2nd placer Gabriel Maturan; and All at Once by third placer Daddy's Home.

Tonight is the presentation night of the X Factor Philippines Grand Finalists.  Don't know who will be because they are all great singers.  

GABRIEL MATURAN of Dapitan City is fighting a different battle in his life as he has long struggled to have a complete family. Growing up, Gabriel has had three men he considered as fathers, one of whom was a Danish national. That was why he lived and became a working student in Denmark. When his mom and his second stepfather parted ways, they returned to the country and lived in Zamboanga Del Norte, where he found his third dad.

KZ TANDINGAN of Digos City is determined to win the competition, KZ has always loved singing so much that she would belt out songs just about everywhere. Unfortunately, she encountered throat problems that affected her singing voice. She can no longer belt out high notes like before and thus suffered from low self-esteem. But with the help of her family, she was able to find her love music once more and searched for a unique singing style with her band. Now that she is the “Xfactor” KZ is ready to give it all to prove that the country's music industry is not just for belters and smooth-skinned, pretty artists.

Carrying the banner of the Groups category is all-male DADDY's HOME composed of Allan Silonga, Herbert Silonga, Eric Dacanay and Jerome Icatar. All professionals and aged above 31, Daddy's Home threats their families as inspiration to win the competition, they also face conflicting priorities since they have families to provide for, Making it this far, Daddy's Home, Daddy's Home threats their families as inspiration to win the competition and finally achieve their goal of penetrating the mainstream scene.

Since the finalist of XFactor performed live from the very beginning, I think this will be the first time that they will perform during their first ever press con. All the finalist shown their XFactor

All the finalist show their XFactor in front the press and there were all an imitation of the judges and there were 3 press judges during the event. They acted as if they were the real Judges. Of course since there were judges the final six give out there best and performed as if it was the live performance at Pagcor.

For the final six, being the next multimedia superstar and winning “the X Factor Philippines” are not just a battle of charisma, stage presence, and unique vocal prowess but also a personal battle to overcome their lifelong struggles that might have driven them off course from realizing their dreams of making it in the music industry.



Here are some information about the Final Six:

JERIC MEDINA from Paranaque has been battling weight problems since he was a kid. He may be living a privileged life but he grew up insecure about his physique. This drove him to commit to losing weight through exercise and diet and eventually lost more than 70lbs. With his new figure, he was more confident to pursue his longtime dream of becoming a music artist.

KEDEBON COLIM of Cebu faces a tough battle in the competition. Aside from struggling with poverty, Kedebon is also in a constant battle to prove himself to the viewing public that he deserves to be in the final six. Despite the insults thrown at him, Kedebon respects people's opinions and just does his best every week. This is no surprise to his family and friends because Kedebon has always been strong and hardworking. In fact, he even worked as an internet cafe attendant and construction worker at the same time just to help in his family's finances.

Just like Kedebon, ALLEN STA. MARIA is also fighting poverty. The youngest finalist from Nueva Ecija would join various amateur singing contests and get gigs as a singer to support her studies and buy stuff for herself like clothes and shoes. Allen never became champion in the many singing contests she joined.

It's the elimination night!  The very day that most of the X-Factor Philippines Finalists hates very much, Sunday!  This is the night when the tension rises, the fast beatings of the hearts, and the thought of being eliminated lurks around.  Everyone are praying to be on the safe zone.

For tonight's bottom two, which by the way the mentor doesn't agree very much, are Allen Sta. Maria and Joan Da.  It was really a miracle for Kedebon!


As the two played their piece to determine who will be eliminated, both of them truly sung but according to the judges one of them sung her heart out and the other one simply express.  Joan Da was eliminated, giving Allen Sta. Maria another chance to prove more of herself.

It’s the 6th week presentation night of the X-Factor Philippines and I just got lucky to get invited to see for myself these aspiring X-Factor Champions and also did a little interview with them. I call them aspiring X-Factor Champions because it’s really hard to get pass the selection process of the competition and they are all really aspiring to be the champions of this competition. Being one of the finalists is truly a great blessing for them.

Well, to be honest this is my first time to watch it live! That’s why I’m so thrilled and in awe when I was there. I never thought that I could meet these wonderful and talented individuals. I have only watched them on TV during their previous presentation nights.


During the tour there was one comment that the X-Factor Philippines Finalists were so tall but was surprised when they were seen in person. Anyway, cameras sometimes trick our eyes. X-Factor Philippines Finalists also opened that one of the day that they hate being the competition was Sunday because that was the day that one of the bottom two goes home. But perhaps they’ve embraced it already that there could be only one.


For this weeks presentation their theme were great hits during the 80s. Hmmm… I think I was still in grade school back then and I’m not pretty well acquainted with some of the music back then, that’s what I have thought but when I’ve heard the songs, I just say “ahh okay, so that was it!”
