The term Yoga is not new to me, as we all know there are quite numerous establishments offers yoga session nowadays, perhaps the only new thing for me is doing this on a regular basis. I think it’s been a year now since the last time I attended a Yoga Session. Okay for moms who haven’t started doing yoga well here’s what it is all about.



















Yoga is an old discipline from India. It is both spiritual and physical. Yoga uses breathing techniques, exercise and meditation. It helps improve health and happiness in other words the wellness of a human being. Yoga is the Sanskrit word for union which basically describes your union to your well being.
Last December I was able to have a chance to do a Yoga Session with one of the Kapuso Stars, Mommy LJ Reyes and of course with the other Mommy Bloggers as well. LJ Reyes or Lourna Jane Pujeda Reyes is one of those artists who rose from the 2nd Season of Starstruck. Take note her birthday is a well celebrated date in the whole world because it is also the day we all celebrate Christmas, December 25. The Yoga Session was held at Snap Fitness which just located at the area of Timog, Quezon City.

Before the session there’s a time to chit chat and that was the time that she was able to share some insights about Yoga and the benefits that we can get from it. According to Mommy LJ, we Filipinos love to eat specially last December which is the month of celebrations. That’s why we need to have time to exercise to be fit. Yes, Mommy LJ is quite a fit mommy than me. Well eating has become my habit and losing that earned weights are very much hard to do.


The Yoga session is very relaxing but it is also tiring. At first it was very easy to perform and follow the instructions but as you go on with the session the activity is getting harder and harder. I was feeling my body aches. There’s one part of the Yoga that gives you a relaxing time that I almost fell asleep, especially the voice of the instructor that is like a lullaby. Perhaps few of the known benefits of the session is helping you to be relaxed and lively at the same time. I guess Mommy LJ loves doing Yoga very often.

It has been 18 years since, Canada’s Much Music’s Fan Favourite Band of the Year, and hosts of the 2000 Juno Awards, released any new music. But that’s all about to change!

On January 10th, 2018 The Moffatts, will release the first single from their new 6 song EP of the same name “Secrets”. On January 9, the single will have a world premiere on EasyFM -- 6:15 pm Manila. People can stream it - http://eazyfm.becteroradio.com .

The EP will follow in the footsteps of past Moffatt records, featuring powerful harmonies, infectious rhythmic melodies, and great guitar licks. The EP was recorded and produced by The Moffatts, and the brothers were writers on all songs. The EP will be distributed by BEC TERO MUSIC; a SONY MUSIC affiliate out of Bangkok Thailand.

The Moffatts consist of four brothers: Bob Moffatt – Drums, Programming, and Vocals; Clint Moffatt – Bass, Acoustic Guitar, and Vocals; Dave Moffatt – Keyboards, and Vocals; and Scott Moffatt – Rhythm Guitar, Lead Guitar, Programming, and Vocals.

Back in the late 90’s The Moffatts were EMI Music’s #1 International Priority, and toured the world extensively, where they sold in excess of 7 million albums, and were presented with Gold and Platinum records in 32 countries – which included going 10X’s platinum in The Philippines. Their last album, Submodalities featured the #1 hit - Bang Bang Boom, which at the time was the fastest #1 single in Canadian music history.

THE DEPORTED WORLD TOUR will also feature one of David Letterman’s favourite comics, the legendary raconteur of weird stories, comedian Jake Johannsen.

THE DEPORTED WORLD TOUR will take Peters around the world with shows well into 2019. The Asia dates follow a run through Australia and New Zealand. His last tour travelled to over 26 countries with over 200 performances and more than 300,000 fans in attendance.

It's exciting. It's thrilling and it's amazing! The stage is set for the biggest magical spectacle this Holiday season as IMPOSSIBLE: World’s Greatest Magic Show finally arrives in Manila. My kids love to watch Magic Show online, they were longing to watch a live act and gladly yours truly was invited in one of the magic show recently played here in the Philippines, the  Impossible. It is staged in Philippines to let Filipinos watch it this holiday season. My family, of which I always dubbed it as Date with My Boys were all there to enjoy it. As most of you knows that I'm the only girl in the family and my boys are my two kids and my hubby. Our date happened last Christmas day, we went to Smart Araneta Coliseum for our time with the magicians.
We were so excited! And yes, this is the first time that my kids will watch it live. At first they were so thrilled until Bello Nock get the terrifying stunt, even me, I am so nervous with the stunts. Personally, I do have fear on heights, so this one gave us a scary feeling that everytime that he seemed to falling we would shout and were frightened.

The next thing that my eldest son, Maki asked was "How'd they do that Mommy?" when Ben Hart did the electrifying transportation. It was so amazing. I cannot explain it well, I just said to my son "It's Magic". While my youngest son, Gelo wanted to volunteer to Chris Cox when he asked the audience to read what was inside the mind of that specific person. He wanted to talk to the magician, he kept of raising his hand, hahaha, Gelo is very active and curious at the same time. Mind Reading is so amazing and spectacular, we really like it that much.

Ben Hart and Magical Bones made the news headlines recently as they left Filipino audiences stunned with their up-close magic and sleight of hand tricks during their promo tour in Manila to announce the show.
Finally the end was near, and it was Bello Nock again that made us all terrified with his stunt and we would shout whenever he is on the almost falling. Again, that was so amazing and spectacular. Most of the audience were really frightened with his stunts even my kids, their eyes were hooked with Bello Nock.
