Our teeth, one of the very essential part of our body that is being used in our daily lives, needs attention. Its been a while since we visited in our dentist as a family. I was glad that we spent our 1st #DateWithMyBoys at our dearest Dentist and Ninang Dra Meng. She is one of the sponsor on our wedding. Basically our kids should call her Lola but she rather like to be called as Tita Meng. Hehehe.


This is the very 1st check up for Gelo’s teeth. I’m so worried about his teeth because he is now going to be 8 years old and yet he just lost 2 of his teeth. Dra Meng said that maybe Gelo experiencing delay in the development of his teeth or a syndrome i guess. It is because almost his teeth now are still baby teeth. She said also that we need to observe the teeth of Gelo specially if there are new teeth is growing.



Next is our dear eldest son, Maki. I just want to let his teeth be cleaned but it seems that one of his teeth should come off already so Dra Meng extracted his baby tooth that was obstructing the beauty of his smile. I guess this is the only remaining baby tooth that he has. I love the way Ninang Meng did it to Maki. He didn't even noticed that the tooth was already extracted. The only problem that Ninang Meng encountered was that it grows a certain portion of the gums underneath that baby tooth. So she has to remove that portion. One good news is that Maki have beautiful and strong teeth that he doesn't need to wear a brace. Of course we need to take good care of his teeth until he is totally a grown up.

Me, of course, I am so eager to have my teeth be cleaned. I know that if my gums feels swollen already that's the time that i need to visit my dentist. My teeth are not as strong as with my boys. It is weak that I need to have it cleaned twice of thrice a year to avoid any problem with it. Now, I am happy because my teeth are now clean and I can confidently smile every time I have an event or an interview with some showbiz personalities.


Lastly, Daddy Marco since his teeth are so strong and he's very keen in taking good care of his teeth he doesn't need to have cleaning but maybe on our next visit.  He will have his major check up and an extraction maybe.
It was a nice experience dating my boys at our dentist. Thank you so much Ninang/Dra.Meng for taking care of our teeth. Love you so much and see you soon!

Jackie Chan brings new movie to Philippine cinema through ABS-CBN Films' Star Cinema 'The Knight of Shadows : Between Yin and Yang'. 

'The Knight of Shadows' is an action-fantasy epic that revolves around Songling (Chan), a demon hunter defending humanity from an inhuman invasion. When an evil force starts kidnapping village girls to feast on their souls, he sets out to save as he teams up with police detective Fei, played by Austin Lei, and a group of friendly monsters.

Joining the cast of 'The Knight of Shadows' are Elaine Zhong, Lin Peng, and Ethan Juan and it is helmed by up-and-coming filmmaker Jia Lu a.k.a. Vash.

Vash, the director, has been known for his works in the 2010 film 'Batman: Under The Red Hood' with its visual effects and 2014 3D film 'Bugs' as director.

Kiefer Liu, one of the pioneers of 3D in China who created the very successful ‘The Monkey King’, produced ‘The Knight of Shadows’. This new epic movie features exciting action, wild comedy, eternal love, thrilling visual effects, and revelations of a world beyond.

Star Cinema, which has also been releasing Jackie Chan-produced films in recent years--such as 'Reset' in 2017 and 'A Better Tomorrow' last year, brings 'The Knight of Shadows' to Philippine theaters in line with the celebration of the Chinese New Year.

Good Afternoon, Friends.

People will always say what they want to say. And especially nowadays, people ALWAYS have something to say. Everything we do is always given some shade or color. I feel we have lost the joys of being spontaneous. We have lots the right to make choices without people having opinions about them.

But this afternoon, I do not care. I do not care what people may think or what motives they think I have for this gathering. As far as I am concerned and from the bottom of my heart, I am simply welcoming home a dear friend who have missed. That is all there is to this luncheon that gathers us all together this afternoon.

We are all friends welcoming back in our arms somebody who was not with us for reasons beyond control or explanation. And we are not here to make a stand except for one important statement: Bong Revilla, you are our dear friend...and we are happy that you are back.

There is no greater treasure than appreciating the blessing of friendship that has been given to us. Have a good afternoon.

Parents, like me, nowadays should also be internet savvy to adopt with today's generation, specially if you have kids. Though being online is of great help for us, especially with the kids school projects, still there are things that are somewhat needs to be restricted and guided. Not everything online or in social media are appropriate for the kids, so we really need to have restrictions and we don't want our kids to be influenced online negatively.





Recently, I was able to watch the series of High on iWant starring Ria Atayde and Markus Paterson, which is by the very timely because of the flourishing of social media but perhaps the only different is the challenges that it imposes. We all know that this generation is more active and always on to any challenges. The story of High is about the danger or the negative effect of joining challenges online like what the siblings, Gabby (Ria) and Miguel (Markus) have joined.  

The series has 8 episodes and fortunately it is now on its 6th episode which you can watch on iWant. This series made me curious enough that I can't hardly wait to finish the whole 8 episodes. What's great about this series is that it is produced by Filipinos that can be compared to foreign TV series. 
 

Ria Atayde's character made it more interesting and mysterious. Ria shared that she did so many stunts for High and for her its fulfilling. Even her mother Sylvia Sanchez called during their shoot and assure the safety of Ria, specially the one scene where they used as the poster and banner of the series High where Ria climbs the tower. That scene is part of the mystery and challenge in the series. Truly, Ria is a very adventurous person, in showbiz and in her real life.

Like Mommy Sylvia Sanchez she immediately told her youngest daughter and son Gela and Xavi that they need to promise not to engage in any suspicious activity in the internet. It is also an eye opener for me that I should be very careful on letting my kids use the internet. One of these days I will talk to my kids about it and remind them the danger of some sites that are not applicable on their ages.

But I am sure to finish the series by next week January 19 for the last 2 episodes of High. So get high in watching and expect a good story with iWant's original series HIGH.

It's a back to back health talk weekend programs at GMA News TV teamed up with the Department Of Health (DOH). The shows "Healthy Ever After" which is hosted by Pancho Magno and real life partner Max Collins  and "The Healthy Juan" hosted by Rocco Nacino, will be aired every Sunday at 5:30pm and 8:00pm, respectively.


The program "Healthy Ever After" will discuss about family. Its hosts, husband Pancho Magno is a registered nurse and wife Max Collins, will join forces to tackle different family topics that will definitely brings out the curiosity from husband and wife, like me and my hubby.
