Well, there are different kinds of bonding moment that you can spend with your Family. My Family went into a bonding treat. And we sure love it. It was the Great Northern Sale of SM City North Edsa.


My Family was lucky that I was able to get a shopping spree courtesy of SM. It was a GC!  An addition to what we are going to spend during the sale.  Since I got it early, I already have a plan on what things I am going to buy. I just thought of something wareable that my family will enjoy.


A Sleep wear! At first we went to the toddler section. Since my 1 year old son is rapidly growing, I  need a sleep wear that fits on him. Gladly, we found 2 sets of sleep wear. This is not actually on sale but I thought this is a good buy already.  He really enjoy the color and would really love to wear the pajama and the sando which I thought comfortable for him to wear at night. The two Sando costs 159.75 while the set of Pajama is 139.75 for a total of 299.50.  Thrifty enough ain't it!  And good news there still enough for me to buy for my self.


So next stop, the section for myself.  So where it is?   Well, we asked a sales lady for this one because we kind of lost for a while.  When we got the instruction we head on to that section and choose some great buys.  Since our theme for this sale is sleep wear, I tried to look for some sleep wear that I could wear comfortably during at night.  So what did I get?   I got 2 shorts amounting to PhP59.75 and 49.75 and 1 pajama costs 99.75, another great find isn't it?  It's really comfortable and nice to wear.   There is still more to spend....what will be next?


Of course we stroll around more to find some more sales and discounts, different accessories, apparels, pants, and other stuff.  I think I've seen discounts from 10% to 50%.  Too bad we didn't have enough spare money to get all those items on sale.  Perhaps on their next sale we could have more spare money to get most of their discounts.   We really had fun and a bonding moment with my kiddos.

 Awards..awards.. and awards.

What's with this word "Award"?  Well, just to give readers a hint about this, the Tambayan 101.9 recently held their awarding ceremony for different singers in the industry.  The Tambayan OPM Awards 2012 was held at the SM North EDSA Skydome.    The said skydome was filled with fans cheering for their favorite OPM singers and artists.

We all love music and most of us do listen over the radio.  We get to listen to what's hits and most popularly requested over the radio station.  For this instance the Tambayan OPM Awards recognizes these artists.  This is the first time that I attended such event that give importance to OPM singers.   Lots of surprises were in store in this awarding "concert".


Aside from the awarding part there are also celebrities who received an award and recognizing their talent.  Also different celebrities performed at the event.  Most of these songs were sung by the fans/audience, of course yours truly because I really love OPM songs.


There were also Kapamilya stars who were given an awards, like Vice Ganda and Anne Curtis for Phenomenal Entertainer of the Year, Angeline Quinto as Female Artist of the Year, Christian Bautista for being Male Artist of the Year and finally the Juan dela Cruz Band received the Tambayani Award.


Tambayan 101.9 DJs also performed during the event and they've showed that they are not only the voice behind the radio.  It was a fun night and my hidden voice heard by me (LOL).

Lead stars Eula Valdes, Empress, Nikki Gil, and Ejay Falcon are currently having mixed emotions as their much acclaimed afternoon drama series "Mundo Man Ay Magunaw" draws down to its last few episodes.  This was felt during their Grand Finale Press Conference held at ELJ Building ABS-CBN.  Some of the artist did really shed tears while answering some of the questions being raised by the media.  To them, the experience being part of the drama series "Mundo Man Ay Magunaw was genuine enough that it went to the point of wanting more, a book 2 perhaps.  But of course all things needs to come to an end and though they know that it will end soon, they were all still clinging to each other through that experience.

"Mundo Man ay magunaw" lead stars Eula Valdes, Empress, Nikki Gil, and Ejay Falcon are currently having mixed emotions as their much acclaimed afternoon drama series draws down to its last two weeks.

While they feel happy because of the show's consistent triumph in the ratings game and the positive feedback they have been receiving from TV viewers, the whole cast are also saddened because they will miss their regular bonding on the set.

According to Eula, they always have wonderful moments during tapings.  "My relationship with my co-actors really became very personal, to the point that we share stories about our own families," Eula said.  "The whole cast and even the staff are sensitive to each other's feelings that's why if we're making jokes about each other, nobody gets offended."

For Empress, being part of "Mundo Man Ay Magunaw" has been a huge blessing.  "I've learned so much from the veteran actors in the show.  I think even if I'm not part of 'Mundo Man ay Magunaw,' I'll still be proud of it because of its great story and well execution on TV," Empress said.

Meanwhile, Nikki discovered the actress in her even more because of "Mundo Man ay Magunaw."  According to her, "I've learned a lot not only about acting but also many other things about myself.  I'm very thankful to be given the chance to work with senior stars in 'Mundo Man ay Magunaw' because they've taught me a lot about being an artist and being a person."

Ejay, on the other hand, admitted that he is going to miss 'playing' with his co-actors on the set.  "We really enjoyed doing this drama series.  It's like we're not working because we're always playing and laughing during the set.  We've become like a real happy family that is why it's easier for us to work."

As the story of Olivia (Eula), Sheryl (Empress), and Jenny (Nikki) goes down to its final two weeks, how will fate bring them back together?  Will someone need to risk his/her own life for their family to be finally whole?

Here's another much awaited teleserye of ABS CBN, the "Be Careful with my Heart" which will premiere on Monday, July 9, 2012 on ABS CBN. This will be a Prime-Tanghali drama series.

As a full time mommy, this is another teleserye that I will be expecting everyday.  This teleserye will be aired everyday right before the noon time show "It's Showtime".  It will be a great opportunity to relax and rest after the busy morning in the house but of course I'll still cook for my kids but of course while watching the teleserye.

This will be a cute love story that will mainly focus about family and love life of course.  I'm excited to see the cute love team of Jodi and Papa Chen.   This teleserye will have a lighter effect because this will deviate from the common drama during prime time.  This teleserye will have a light touch of drama and comedy.  Comedy in a sense that they will give kilig moments of how a rich man fell in love with a nanny. 

There will be more to expect on this teleserye, so do watch starting July 9, 2012.

Here's what Jodi and Papa Chen expresses with this new teleserye.

Both Jodi and Richard are both excited with show as it marks a milestone in their respective showbiz careers. "Be Careful is so special to me as it is my firs-ever lead role in a teleserye. This is also the first time that I get to work with Richard, " said Jodi, who will portray the role of Maya, a provincial lass who dreams to become a flight stewardess for her to help her family out of poverty.

Jodi further shared that she is quite positive that Maya's tale will win the hearts of the afternoon viewers because of the "good vibes" that she brings in the story. She said "They will surely be inspired with Maya's character. She is so optimistic with life. For her, everything can be done and nothing is impossible!"

Meanwhile, similar to his leading lady, "Be Careful With My Heart" is equally memorable for Richard as it is his first drama, where he is the leading man.

Richard will give life to the character of Mr. Lim. "In the story, I'm a widower who works hard for his three children. But because of being busy with his business, he will need help," said Richard. "It's more of an unexpected love story. Viewers can expect a lot of kilig moments and I'm sure they can relate with it.

Aside form Jodi and Richard, also part of "Be Careful With My Heart" are Jerome Perez, Janella Salvador and Mutya Orquia. It is under the direction of Jeffrey Jeturina and Mervyn Brondial.

This is another exciting event happened and experienced by yours truly recently.  It was a visit at the shot location for the Princess and I which is a prime time teleserye of ABS CBN.  Seeing actors and actress in action does brings out the fan side of me, though I'm not that too fanatic, and this experience was just something to be added in my list of experiences.  

We were brought to the shot location in Marikina City, which is quite near.  As expected, fans are gathered at the vicinity of the shooting.  Of course they wanted to see their favorite actors and actresses.  I guess that's the impact of the teleserye Princess and I.   Since most of the cast are teenagers fans are also teenagers.


Since they all have different scenes, they let us interview first those actors and actresses of the teleserye who were free during that time.  First batch that we interviewed were Enrique Gil who played the role of Dasho Jao, Khalil Ramos as the best friend of the character Mikay named Kiko and Daniel Padilla who plays the character Gino.  The question that were brought up to them was who will win the heart of Mikay.  Of course they wouldn't disclose it us but just a matter of curiosity and if they'll going to slipped.  Hahaha!  The three guys are jolly and they are very thankful that they are part of the teleserye the Princess and I.









Next we interviewed was Kathryn Bernardo who played the role of Mikay.   I see that she was just a simple girl.  According to her, this teleserye is really a big break for her not only that she was able to have her own teleserye but because she was able to portray as a princess.




The finale and the last, none other than Gretchen Barreto.  I'm pretty much sure most of us bloggers were really star struck of her beauty.  She was really astounding.  At first you'll be intimidating of how she looks but as she started to talk to us and answer our questions I can say that she was so nice and very accommodating.


According to Gretchen, her role in Princess and I is a dream come true. Ever since she started as an artist she wanted to portray as a Queen that's why when this project was offered to her she accepted.


This was my 2nd time to visit an ABS-CBN Teleserye shooting and I'm hoping that I will have more experiences to count.  And of course I will let all my readers know more of it.

It's been 2 months since I resigned from my work. It's been 2 months that I am still happy with my choice. Although, in every decision that we make there is always pros and cons. On the negative side first, since there are lots of good things happen with this decision.

On the negative side, we really need to squeeze our budget. Before, when I was still working our salary were enough or break even but now, i can say that its almost negative.  But we need to be strong as we struggle in this financial problem.  For me, there is always a way to ease and triumph in our life.

Well, better stop on those negative side, let's have the positive vibes now.

Positive side, I can now bond with my kids all the time, especially if I don't have event to attend to.  I personally prepare their food and for my eldest before he goes to school.  I also prepare his uniform, bag and other things.  Most important I can teach him on his assignment and some reviews.   And also to focus and take good care of my youngest son which is really an awesome experience.  I've heard in one the events that "Parents should enjoy your kids specialy when they are still small". Enjoy, yeah, I'm really enjoying it now and having the best experience with them all the time.

Aside that, I am also enjoying the blogging side, attend some events, meeting different people, gaining friends and learn a lot as well.  Who said that I cannot practice my intellectual capability. Whow wait a minute I could say that I'm already practicing it now and almost every minute.

Okay lastly, the good thing is that I have already put up a little store in our house.  Selling anything under the sun.  That's my busy life after resignation.

Hope that blessings will continue and ease that negative side.
