When it comes to food I am not very adventurous but I like to taste different kind of dishes, almost. I cook Filipino food for my family only and I have never tried cooking Italian, Japanese or even Korean Cuisines. I hope that this coming holiday season I will be able to serve different dishes for my hubby and kids and to let them taste my cooking with my very own style.
Well, before I was invited I just got curious about the dishes cooked in Chef's Noodle. That's why when I received an invitation a few weeks ago, I was thrilled to experienced this food and to experience the restaurant as well. This is the first time that I went to Chef's Noodle. I've been to other Korean restaurant but this one enticed me to taste their food.
First, the ambiance of the restaurant looks so inviting enough as you enter the establishment. Then I like the 2nd floor looks and perhaps I came to like it because that's where we did our food tasting. It's so cozy and nice with its interior, not the usual ambiance if you say it's a fast food. The style of Chef's Noodle is different.
Next is the food in which I will tour you all on the dishes that Chef's Noodles' serve.
Oh, this is something that you need to taste. This is Bibimbap, I used to heard about it on my sister-in-law, so I am a little bit curious on the taste of it. She told me that they eat Bibimbap very delicious. So when i taste it, I am surprised with the taste, the spiciness is just enough and it taste delicious, and the price is very affordable, is just Php99.00 with a glass of Iced Tea. Isn't nice? Well, i will definitely recommend it.

This is Seafood Pajun, It's a Korean pancake with Shrimp and squid, spring onions and bell pepper. It's like an omelette for only PhP99.00.
Japchae is like a Pancit here in the Philippines. This is something to taste in Chef's Noodles, this is a glass noodle dish with beef and veggies that is seasoned with special soy sauce for only PhP130.00. I will definitely recommend and let my mother taste this because she loves Pancit very much.
And here are some of the their desserts. It was so delightful and you'll definitely indulge on their sweet and very delicious dessert. I really love it! I will let my hubby taste it very soon.
So,
my dear readers, try Chef's Noodle Korean Restaurant and they are just located in the metro at G/F SM The
block. Well, it is just one ride away from our house.

Country's one and only Pop-Rock Princess Yeng Constantino has been cutting the mustard this year and continuously creating buzz with abundant and successful firsts on music and new achievements locally and internationally. Aside from rejoicing on adding one to her age, Yeng is counting all her blessings and currently cooking up for something to thank her supporters.
As the only one sitted on the Pop-Rock princess throne, Yeng never fails to exude new dimensions oh her music. Originals are usually branded as risky ones especially now that revivals continue to conquer the music scene. Proud and brave, Yeng was never afraid of testing waters. Metamorphosis, her fifth studio album was Yeng's dream project. Reuniting with one of her favorite musicians Raymund Marasigan, together they created another brand new sound without completely shying away from the OPM vibe. Yeng is really proud of the album because she was able to mesh her secular and non-secular sides as a musician and still bring out the magic in it. Metamorphosis (which bagged 2013 Star Awards for Music's Rock Album of the Year award), features hits such as "B.A.B.A. Y", "Josephine", "Sandata" and the biggest chart-topper of the year "Chinito" which also won as Star Awards music video of the year. Yeng also grabbed the following nominations in the forthcoming ASAP Pop Viewers Choice Awards - Pop Female Artist, Pop Song, Pop Music Video and Pop Album all for the song "Chinito".

BY Request was one of this year's highlights that Yeng is grateful for. It was Yeng's dream concert. Hitting two birds with one stone, BY Request was staged at the Big Dome and most especially shared the moment with OPM rock icon Bamboo. Yeng and Bamboo performed not just their hit songs but mostly songs requested by fans even the ones way out of their elements. BY Request was a sold-out success and will be followed by provincial and international repeats early next year.

Being hailed as the one and only Filipino ambassadress of Academy Of Rock was one of the humongous achievements Yeng has under her belt. Yeng did not just prove that she could make a mark in the
Asian music scene but also raised the bar of OPM and made it noticeable worldwide. As an ambassadress, Yeng has been gracing several Asian music festivals and events. Last October 12, she performed in one of the biggest music festivals in Hong Kong called "Silvermine Bay Music Festival" held at Lantau Island. Yeng nt up the festival with two inspiring medleys from the Beatles and Eraserheads. Ended her set with her original song "Salamat" which the 30,000 crowd was singing along to even the non-Filipin0s.
The same song is already a part of School Of Rock's student syllabus. The festival could not have been a better stage for the red-haired one to showcase her vocal prowess. She was the only Filipino performer in the said gathering, joined by HK's top artists - Ever, Chochukmo, Shotgun Politics, Killersoap, Tonick, Matchbox, Dovey and co-ambassadors Supper Moment and Joey Tang. Yeng will be flying to Taiwan on November 11 for a grand press conference organized by the Rock School together with the rest of the other ambassadors. Couple of invitations from other Asian countries are still lined up for Yeng in 2014.
Another dream was fulfilled for Yeng as Academy Of Rock Singapore handed over her own guitar line -the "Yeng Guitar Series" which was launched in Singapore last September 29 at Harry's Bar Esplanade. Yeng was so surprised and overwhelmed to see members of "Yengsters" Singapore chapter who joined her during the meet and greet. A culminating show entitled "That Thing You Do featuring Yeng Constantino" was staged at The Esplanade Outdoor Theater. The AOR ambassadress shared the stage with two exploding sets of popular rock and pop numbers. Yeng Guitar Series became available here in the country (Academy Of Rock The Fort Taguig) last October 7.
September 30, day after the guitar launch, Yeng was privileged to record an original song in Singapore School Of Music Recording Studio for Academy Of Rock CD compilation entitled "Better Than Yesterday", featuring Singapore's hip-hop / rap act Sheikh Haikal. The single will also be released and heard in Manila airwaves very soon. After the November 11 press conference in Taiwan, Yeng will immediately head straight to Singapore from November 14 to 16 for a series of promotional radio tours for "Better Than Yesterday".

For a mom who always does the list of our inaanak (godchildren) this is one place where we're getting the items without the Christmas rush. I remember as early as August, Christmas tunes already occupies significant airtime among radio stations well actually even on TV, that signal the start of arguably the world’s longest Christmas celebration.
The spirit of giving also comes into its full vitality as gift lists are already written, and you’ll know it’s the “ber-months” once hordes of bargain hunters pack the metro’s shopping centers just to buy them.
Giving something unique for Christmas has always been everyone’s dilemma. While most people run out of ideas, they sometimes resort to buying the same items in bulk just to have gifts to give away. But that can be avoided through early foresight and careful planning to avoid the chaotic Christmas shopping rush.
If kiddie gifts are your shopping thing, best to go to kid-friendly stores where you can find whatever children’s gifts that fit your fancy. Whether toys or apparel, best to look for a one-stop shop for all kiddie gifts, including educational and art materials to provide not just fun but also learning.
For the teen and adult fashionistas, meanwhile, who need to look for a store for their wardrobe upgrade, it has to be one that has an expansive selection of apparel that the true-blue shopper would want, one that caters to a lot of different styles, from t-shirts, polos, tank tops, blouses, shorts, pants, to different footwear items. This will surely appeal to the young and even the not-so-young set, plus matching accessories that cater to everyone’s distinctive personal styles.
And how about the techies? It has to be a place that can supply all their techie needs, from accessories to the latest gadgets whenever they’d need to upgrade their gizmos, but at affordable prices compared to expensive tech stores. So if you’re a techie shopper who is up for practical spending and not splurging much, look for specialty stores that offer the most affordable gifts fit to your liking.
Consider as well the timing for your shopping. If you are coming after an exhausting day at school or at work, chances are you won’t make it to regular shopping hours to buy your gifts. Given this, the tendency is to keep pushing up your shopping schedule and chances are, you won’t be able to keep them and you’ll end up shopping nearer Christmas time, which is what you are trying to avoid in the first place.
So what better way to avoid the Christmas rush than just going to one place: Tutuban Center, the premier bargain shopping destination in Manila. Because ‘tis the season to be spared from all the hustle and bustle of mad Yuletide shopping, whether you’re a Mom, a fashionista, a techie, or a late-night shopper, old or young, guy or gal, Tutuban Center is one place where you can find all the gifts you want to buy and tick off from your checklist.
It’s the season to enjoy your life’s blessings and sharing them with others– Tutuban Center, the only place where Pinoy Shopping experience truly happens.
When we talk about Toilet, it is not really appropriate and good to have a conversation about it but the reality is that we need to know the importance of it in our daily lives. Cleaning our households particularly the toilets must be done properly. This is to prevent bacterias that causes diarrhea which is the third leading cause of child illnesses and fourth leading cause of death of children under five years old.
With the help of Domex they launched their advocacy to have a cleaner toilet here in the Philippines. The movement is called One Million Clean Toilets Movement, it is a campaign that aims to encourage a culture of cleanliness by increasing the public's awareness on the importance of maintaining proper toilet sanitation through a series of year-long cleaning and education initiatives, starting with a multi-sector partnership with UNICEF, the Philippine Public Health Associaton, the city of Manila and Pilipinas Shell.
Domex will deputize Germ Busters through a series of training activities on the proper servicing of restrooms covering City Service employees, NLEX and SLEX Shell gas station service personnel, and selected school and hospital sanitation staff.
There was a demonstration done in the launch event at Patio Victoria in Intramuros. There they show how to properly clean your toilet, here is the video together with Dimples Romana as the host of the event:
In line with these, there will be a World Toilet Day before the end of this month. As I remembered my hubby covered last year's event which was held at the San Lazaro Hospital. Awareness is the main reason of this kind of celebration.
"Good hygiene practices are learned at home, and what every household must understand is that proper sanitation is a necessity, not a luxury." said Domex brand Manager Dennis Chua
"Using common cleaning products such as detergents and bleach may result in clean surfaces, but without germ-killing agents, they cannot provide total disinfection. Regular use of a specialized cleaning product can significantly decrease levels of virus contamination, and minimize the contraction of illnesses like influenza, diarrhea and hepatitis, "Chua added
Presents also during the event was Vice Mayor Isko Moreno and according to him Manila is very thankful that Unilever chose their city to be the beneficiary of this kind of movement, because it lessen their expenses for their health care program. They promise that they will support Unilever all the way.
With this, individuals who will pledge to support the One Million Clean Toilets Movement via the Domex Philippines FB Page facebook.com/DOMEXPhilippines will also help grow a global fund to help improve access to basic sanitation in areas of need all over the world as Domex will donate P5 to Unicef's Sanitation Program for every pledge received.
So mommies let us all join the movement by cleaning our own toilet with the use of their new Domex products and let us explain to our kids the bad effect of dirty toilet and the importance of cleanliness.
