There are many reasons to enjoy Christmas. For me,  I think I lost count of how many times I tried to make our Christmas celebration different from the other, but then again I would still want my family's Christmas Celebration the best ever here in the Philippines. Am I right Mommies?

For this year, I think we've got something different as a start because celebrating with the family is great and with more reason to enjoy. Besides my sister-in-law lives in Lancaster.
Lancaster New City, the flagship project of property developer PRO-FRIENDS, brings forth this joyful Christmas spirit to families and guests as it features this year's local blockbuster films at its Open Air Cinema, last December 9, 4pm at Central Greens, Lancaster New City Cavity.


I was able to have a chance to witness this kind of festivity in Cavite but before watching the films, Lancaster have some fun treats for everyone at the game activity booths which opened from 4pm to 7pm. Activities includes Poke A tree, Christmas Wreath Toss and Under the Mistletoe. Participants may upload their pictures on social media under the hashtag #OpenAirCinemaOneLancaster.

I'm glad that Sister-In-Law and her family is one of the homeowners at Lancaster and were available to enjoy the what Lancaster presents for the Lancaster Families. Yes, I really enjoyed it as well together with my nephews and niece, since we seldom see each other. The kids really had fun with the activities and even Santa Claus is there to give chance for a photo op.


The open-air cinema event is mounted in partnership with Cinema One as part of the major event of Lancaster New City 2017 Christmas celebrations.

• Director Antoinette Jadaone's "Love You To the Stars and Back" will make you believe once again in the power of love- its ability to fill the void inside of us and heal our broken parts. Reel and real partners Joshua Garcia (Caloy) and Julia Barretto (Mika) grace the screen as they find love in each other in the midst of their individual life's quest.

• Mae Cruz Alviar's "Can't Help Falling In Love" stars Kathryn Bernardo (Gab) and Daniel Padilla (Dos) , and is about the crazy and and confusing set-up of two people who are unknowingly married to each other.

Also, the 20-foot family sculpture called "Perpetuity" created by award-winning Filipino Atist Merlito Gepte, was blessed. The art symbolizes the happy, united and active family that Lancaster New City is home to.

More than being a residential area, the 1600-hectare community also house a church, a commercial-retail-business district, and its own transport hub that gives residents easy access to buses and shuttles for an easy commute around the development.





Also conveniently located inside Lancaster New City is St. Edward Integrated School (SEIS), a private school for students from Kindergarten to Senior high school. There is also the Leighton Hall Clubhouse with its outdoor pool and ballroom for various events.

To celebrate the holiday in true Filipino Christmas spirit, Vivo Philippines releases a special holiday video depicting a touching story of a widow, her children, and a husband and father they lost in a war.

After over two decades since their first team up which has created a cult following of sorts and which has crossed over to real life at some point, the Philippines’ Megastar Sharon Cuneta and pop culture icon Robin Padilla are back together to rekindle their on-screen love affair via the romance comedy “Unexpectedly Yours".

A team up that was not expected initially to draw in the box office receipts, Cuneta and Padilla’s first movie together “Maging Sino Ka Man” became a monumental success, spawning two more successful flicks via “Di Na Natuto” in 1993 and “Pagdating ng Panahon” in 2001.

In fact, he pines for Yanni, Patty’s daughter but to no avail, following her on social media and leaving comments which Patty shields for reason.

Yanni, played by Barretto is a young woman defiant of her mother’s overbearing stance and huge expectations and the way her parents’ marriage turned out. Instead of acting according to the mold, she breaks free and gets involved in various side jobs. She also develops a twisted view of love and takes to social media where she is very active and gets the attention of Jason.

Got registered here personally and I love it. It is really hard to think of food that we mommies need to prepare for the family. There are some instances that the viand repeatedly served and my loved ones already got fatigue. I personally need to cook something different, not usual food.

I seldom watch Horror films. It's either I'm curious or I was just drag to watch movie by my friends. I'm not really a fan of horror films and I'm always scared when there's a film like this. But on this particular movie, "Satans Salves" I was encouraged to watch it together with my friends.

When I heard the title "Satan's Slaves" I was really scared and not sure if I'll watch it or not because the title says it already. Indeed, it was literally scary even at the beginning of the movie. Watch it and you'll understand why? I was hooked or rather got curious about the movie because you'll be wondering what's the reason behind and what's going to happen. Most of the time when the scary part comes I would put my shoal to cover my face. The sound effect gives terrible feelings, then you'll realize that some of the scene is just a sounds there's no need to be scared of. Though, there are scenes that are still frightening. Great that I'm with my BFF when I watched this movie, I'm just calling her name when scary scenes are approaching to lessen the nervousness. Very Ironic, the way I call my Friend's name, is just the way the mother calling his son "Tony". There was an instance that I shouted because I was frightened.

Congrats to all the people who created this movie and yes, it is truly a scary movie I watched in my life so far. I realized that satan will do the best just to get someone, never thought that beautiful face and innocent smile can sometimes full and deceived you. 

It has been thirty five (35) years since the original cult-classic, Satan’s Slave was released in 1982.Director Joko Anwar was mesmerized and completely terrified by it upon sneaking up in a theatre to watch it when he was a kid. He has been lobbying Rapi Films to give him the directing duties if ever they decide to remake it. Fortunately for him, they did.

The original version, released in 1980, still haunts the nightmares of many Indonesians today. The film, a low-budget spectacle directed by Sisworo Gautama Putra, is still one of the best of the bloody, gruesome, and insane Indonesian exploitation movies made by production houses like Rapi Films.

The film has been called “the scariest Indonesian horror film of all time,” “scary as sh*t” and “another gem of horror” from various websites. Truly, Satan’s Slaves will be marked as one of the most unforgettable horror movie experience once seen.

Pengabdi Setan was a mashup of exorcism, zombie, and morality horror. In the film, a mother returns to her home to pick up her children after her death from a strange illness that she suffered for three years.
The film stars Tara Basro, Bront Palarae, Endy Arfian and Indonesian Film Festival 2017 Best Child Actor Muhammad Adhiyat.

Unioil Petroleum Philippines Inc. (Unioil) has unveiled its first electric vehicle (EV) charging station on its newly-opened Unioil Solar Hybrid service station at Congressional Avenue Extension, Quezon City. The state-of-the-art Mitsubishi i-MiEV fully-electric vehicle and the Mitsubishi Outlander Plug-In Hybrid Electric Vehicle (PHEV) were showcased during the event.

Present during the ribbon-cutting ceremony were Unioil Vice President Noel Soriano, Mitsubishi Motor Philippines Corporation (MMPC) Vice President for Business Planning and Public Relations Department Renato Lampano, and other guests.

"We commend Unioil for its initiative to showcase renewable energy in its first hybrid gasoline station. Like Unioil, Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation is striving to reduce carbon footprint by developing technologies for improving fuel economy and electric-powered systems.
