After five exciting Judges’ Auditions episodes, the power now lies in your hands! The top 24 acts are now through to the Semi-Finals and you decide who to vote through to perform at Marina Bay Sands Singapore for the Grand Finals Show!

To vote, tune in to Asia’s Got Talent every Thursday at 8:30 p.m., and wait for the hosts to announce that voting is open, then go to Facebook and Google to start supporting your favorite acts.

In each semi-final episode, eight acts will perform. At the end of each episode, the act that impresses the judges the most will win the Judges’ Pick and head to the Grand Final directly. The seven remaining acts will be up for voting, and the two acts with the most votes after the voting period closes will head to the Grand Final. The voting period will be open for four days from Thursday evening, when the hosts announce that voting is open, to the following Sunday at 11:59 p.m.

Google Search Voting

Fans can vote for their favorite act by searching for “Asia’s Got Talent Vote” on Google. Simply click on the photo of the act you would like to vote for, use the slider to determine how many votes you want to allocate to the acts and click ‘Submit Votes’. You can allocate up to 10 votes per day on Google Search Vote.

Facebook Messenger Voting

Fans can vote via Facebook Messenger by clicking ‘Send Message’ button on the Asia’s Got Talent Facebook page, or look up “Asia’s Got Talent” on Facebook Messenger. Click "Get Started" and you will see a photo carousel of the acts eligible for voting. Scroll through the carousel until you see your favorite act, then click to vote.

You may repeat the process up to a maximum of 10 votes per day of the voting period.

If you're one of the fans of Nonoy Zuniga, the icon and hitmaker, well you're in for a great treat this coming March 13, 2019 as he stage his concert in Resorts World Manila entitled "Nonoy Zuniga... Through The Years".  The concert will be at Newport Performing Arts Theater in Resorts World Manila, this is to continuously give great performance and wonderful music.


For people who still doesn't have a hint of Nonoy Zuniga's hit songs some of it are "Doon Lang", "Kamusta ka?", "Magandang Gabi" and "Never Ever Say Goodbye".

Another interesting fact about Nonoy Zuniga is that he is also a Doctor of Medicine. He graduated from the University of Sto. Tomas. Being a skincare specialist, together with a professional esthetician, Ms Sylvia Cancio who owns Piel Acne and Skin Clinic in New York they established Piel Skincare Center in Cebu City. Currently, Nonoy enjoys his life travelling Las Vegas to Manila and Cebu singing and managing Piel Skincare Center.


Nonoy shared that the concert will be introducing a new artist or an upcoming talent during the concert and her name is Jeselle Kempis. Jeselle revealed that "I am a trained pop singer. I've been training since childhood and singing in private events. Iy has hardly ocurred to me that I can perform in aprofessional concert for which people have to buy tickets. I'm both happy and nervous to perform at 'Nonoy Zuniga... Through the Years."

The concert will guests seasoned artists like the South Border, Nyoy Volante, and Mitch Valdez, with Andrew de Real as stage director and Bobby Gomez as musical director with the Brothers Unlimited.

If you're one of those kids who grew up in the 80s to 90s, IBC 13 is one of the television channels who airs interesting shows from comedy to children shows. I remember this channel airs  one of the comedy show on television, Sic O'Clock News. So knowing that the network is being revive again to air show and call the network Kaibigan Network.

Another interesting news about the reviving of the Intercontinental Broadcasting Corporation or better known as IBC Channel 13 is that it has a new President and CEO in the person of Katherine Chloe De Castro. She is the daughter of former Vice President and veteran broadcaster Noli De Castro and TV producer Arlene De Castro.

A Communication Arts graduate of Miriam College, de Castro is no stranger to the broadcasting industry. She started her career as a field reporter in ABS-CBN Channel 2 and later on hosted her own travel show "Trip Na Trip" and business magazine show "Swak na Swak".

Malacanang appointment on De Castro, first as a Board of Director then later on as President and CEO, came at a time when IBC is transitioning from its old office in Broadcast City to the new IBC 13."

The Presidential Communications Operations Office (PCOO) headed by Secretary Martin Andanar, the overseer of IBC 13, is poised to privatize the network within the year. Due diligence is being undertaken to provide smooth transition and secure all the stakeholders of the company especially its employees and blocktimers.
Meanwhile, IBC 13, with Kat De Castro at the helm, is putting its foot forward as it regains the public interest with the re-airing of its well loved IBC shows for the 80's and 90's. Dubbed as the "Ultimate Throwback", the series of classics include TODAS (Monday-Friday 7:30 PM), Sic O'Clock News (Monday-Friday 6:00pm), and Cooltura (Monday-Friday 10:30 PM).

New programs are scheduled to air on IBC starting this month. In celebration of the 60th anniversary of the network, a documentary special entitled "The Original No. 1: IBC 13's Legacy to Philippine Television" airs on March 8, Friday at 9:30 PM, OOTD: Opisyal of the Day, a public affairs program featuring the senatorial candidates airs every Tuesday and Thursday at 8:30 PM. And coming soon is a travel show entitled "#Cooltura', a millenials approach to travelling around the Philippines.

I have 2 sons, unfortunately no daughter that's why I'm an avid fan and follower of some baby girl on instagram. One of them is the very beautiful and active baby girl Scarlet Snow Belo. I really love to watch all her videos and how talented she is.

The grand coronation at Jollibee Fairytale Land

As a double celebration of sorts, the country’s well-loved fast-food chain threw a grand and royal party at Jollibee Ortigas Roosevelt for Scarlet Snow’s birthday and to officially introduce her as the brand’s JolliKids Ambassador to members of the media.

At the launch, cute little princes and princesses, and other guests were transported into the magical kingdom of Jollibee Fairytale Land through an interactive storytelling session and games. Here, they also joined Jollibee and Friends in a quest through the Fairytale Land for the new JolliKid Princess.



By the end of their mystical adventure, Scarlet Snow was revealed as the newest princess of Jollibee Fairytale Land. She was warmly welcomed by the kingdom’s royal guests who celebrated her grand coronation as the new JolliKids Ambassador.

Along with the fairy tale-themed games, the young royals were encouraged to let their imagination run free with different creativity-boosting activities such as canvas painting, face painting, slime making, and posing for the photobooth which transports them to their very own throne room.


And of course, no celebration is complete without a feast! Kids and kids at heart all enjoyed a hearty serving of their favorite Jollibee meals. The celebration then concluded with an adorable dance performance of Jollibee and Friends and a grand cake-blowing ceremony as guests sang ‘happy birthday’ in chorus to princess Scarlet Snow. Happy International Women's Day! It's a day of giving honor to all women like me. Today, it is believed that "a Woman can do what a man can do". Yes it is true indeed! Particularly, when we talk about our actresses.

Just timely that VIVA films offers a movie entitled "Maria", an action film starring Cristine Reyes. Yes today, not only man can do action film, woman can also do it. I am so excited with this film on how Cristine do the stunts and the lesson learned also.


Hero or villain? Lover of Fighter? Sinner or Saint?

A quick search of #MariaMovie online will lead to poster images of a fierce-looking Cristine Reyes with those words.

A film by Pedring A. Lopez (Direk Pedring), "Maria" follows the story of a former cartel assasin named by Lily who fakes her own death after an unfulfilled mission that earns the wrath of her organization. She flees to a distant province where she completely transforms her life. Changing her name to Maria, she meets Bert, a respectable businessman who becomes her husband. They have a daughter named Mina.

Maria's peaceful life is cut short when the cartel learns of her wherabouts. Kaleb, the man whose orders she didn't follow in the past, tracks her down right inside her home. Falling to protect her family, she returns to a life of violence with revenge on her mind.


Cristine Reyes shows how badass she can get as she takes on the title role. She underwent rigorous training and was obviously hurt while shooting a major fight scene, yet the actress remained unperturbed as seen in her Instagram story sowing the numerous bruises on her arms and legs.

The internationally acclaimed Direk Pedring (Best Director at the Los Angeles Philippine Film Festival and Festival International de Cine Fantastico de Torremolino for "Nilalang") tweeted that Cristines "handles the fights with almost 90% of all her stunts without doubles", expressing his "respect for her dedication to her craft."

For the past 15 years, Reyes has done a lot of comedy and drama films and a few horror movies. "Maria" is her big screen comeback after "Abay Babes". In an interview found on Film Combat Syndicate.com, the actress says, "It's definitely the most challenging thing I've done in my career. I'm super proud of it.."


She also narrates how Viva gave her this project. "They felt strongly about the material and thought I'd be a good fit for the role. I guess they figured it would speak to me on many levels - as an actress, as a mother in real life, and as a martial arts enthusiast. And they were correct. I loved the script when I read it."

Being a fan of the '80s action, Direk Pedring says that he 'wanted to bring it back, (but) put in a modern setting", and to utilize Filipino Martial Arts" which is seen in Hollywood movies like the "Bourne" franchise. Reyes exalths the director for his vision, saying, "I like his style. He has a vision and he really wants that vision to really happen...You feel that he loves his project."

"It's about time to show the world that Filipino filmmakers can also do excellent action films." says Reyes. "Even more exciting that these movies are being fronted by strong female characters. The world needs to know that Filipinas also kick butt!"


Prior to this, VIVA Films already produced an intense and superbly executed action film centering on a female lead. "BuyBust", starring Anne Curtis as a PDEA agent, became the talk of the town when it was shown in cinemast last August 2018. The fight choreographer/fight director for this film was Sonny Sison, the same one for "Maria. He also worked with Direk Pedring in "Nilalang".

Talking about Reyes, Sison says "from the perspective of a fight choreographer, it is nice to see your lead actress not just commit in doing the moves but also infuses the emotional content. That's really important where action is concerned...you are really able to emote the feeling of what's going on in the fight at the same time."

All her co-actors agree that they are blown away by Reyes' performance. The actress concludes, "It's one heck of an action film but also a terrific drama movie about a mother's love for her child, It's a movie for everyone."


"Maria" also stars Ivan Padilla, KC Montero, Guji Lorenzana, Jennifer Lee, Andrea Del Rosario, Cindy Miranda, Freddie Webb and Ronnie Lazaro. Opens in cinemas on March 27. From Viva Films, BlackOps Studios Asia, and PsyOps.

FPG Insurance, the major player in the general insurance industry and Cebuana Lhuillier Foundation, Inc. (CLFI), the CSR arm of the PJ Lhuillier Group of Companies (PLGC) formally inaugurated a community learning center under CLFI’s Alternative Learning System Program in Sitio Nagpana, Barotac Viejo, Iloilo.

Guided by CLFI’s advocacy “Always Love Schooling”, FPG Insurance provided support to the learners enrolled in the program to enable them to complete education and pass the Accreditation and Equivalency (A&E) test with flying colors. Integrated at the Nagpana Elementary School complex, the recipient community learning center has a historical 99% passing rate for its 2017 ALS Accreditation and Equivalency test.

“It is a personal commitment of our President and CEO Ramon Dimacali to support initiatives that pave way for education. He believes that education is the first step towards success and these privileged students of Barotac Viejo will have that with the help of Cebuana Lhuillier Foundation,” said Retail Business Group Assistant Vice President and Cebu Branch Head Janice Diaz.

The students of Barotac Viejo Community Learning Center will all undergo an equivalency examination by the end of their training course to determine their viability to receive a certification from the Department of Education.
